Needs some patching done, but I enjoy the game. (game was a birthday gift from my wishlist)

Pros:
• Starting in the Ancient Era doesn't feel monotonous
• Able to see leader information and benefits when setting up for multiplayer
• When founding a city, borders seem random (it doesn't automatically start you off with your city and six tiles surrounding it)
• Borders form around other borders
• Difference in difficulty between Warlord and Prince is not as big of a gap as it was in Civ V.
• Traders build roads as they travel on their routes
• Roads automatically upgrade as you progress through the game
• Builders don't become obsolete as you progress, because they're used up after improving a resource

Cons:
• Notifications (rumors, damage received) take up a lot of screen space and can't disable it
• Auto-switches through units that need orders (often wind up making the wrong unit do the wrong thing because of this)
• Cannot set a build queue in cities
• Cannot control how many city-states are on a map
• I get motion sickness while playing (when building wonders, the camera circles around the building - you can't disable this feature) (this is also caused by the auto-switching)

Other:
• I wish that doubling up on spies in cities would increase your chances of completing spy activity.
• I'd like to disable the narrator - especially in multiplayer
• When setting up your game, you can't assign teams.

It's like Harvest Moon, or Animal Crossing, with a dash of Starbound or Terraria. It's also horribly addicting. Seriously. I need to do some chores and my college homework... But I think I'm really close to the bottom of the mines...

I just beat this game and realized I only unlocked half of the achievements. I don't think I can replay it any time soon... It's an amazing game, not a mind-blowing one, but it has simple puzzles that can be a small challenge to solve at times.

This game has a wonderful storyline. It's simply point A to point B and if you're ever stuck in a gaming funk and can't figure out what to play, this is one of those you can relax through.

There is also a lot to appreciate regarding the rather unspoken lore of this world. Pay attention to the scenery and let this game take you for a ride.

This was the first Elder Scrolls game I played. I really like it, but I feel they concentrated heavily on the scenery/graphics rather than everything else. I had to do a LOT of pretending while playing, and a LOT of modding when I bought it for PC to make it generally immersive.

I wish there was a "Kind of but not really" option in the middle of the Yes/No recommendation. It's one of those games where I'll play it for a really long time and be incredibly into it, but then I end up being completely untinterested suddenly and will have to stop playing for several months before I become re-interested in it.

I started playing The Elder Scrolls at Skyrim. Before that, all my friends were playing Oblivion, but it never appealed to me. Then after enjoying the crap out of Skyrim, my dear, dear boyfriend started talking all about Morrowind, and how when it came out it was basically the coolest thing ever. So I started playing it on his Xbox... and I immediately fell in love with it. It's nastalgic as all hell, and for some reason, much, MUCH more fun than Skyrim. Maybe because it's jam-packed with lore - SO MUCH LORE! Skyrim's great and all, but Morrowind is where the magic's at.
