This is probably my favorite Final Fantasy game. It's perfect for starters in my opinion. It starts you right in action, and really dosen't have many in game tutorials. I think the music is great, and didn't really mind that it had old graphics. You can also get mods to improve the music and the character models. The game is not too hard and not too easy. Games like Pokemon sometimes require you to grind. This one I feel like I didn't, but then I didn't figure out how to escape battles until I got very late in the game.
