Need for Speed Rivals is one of those games that compared to its predecessor (need for speed hot pursuit) makes the predecessor look like a bootleg and the literal embodiment of pure trash. Its hot pursuit but better with all kinds of fun gadgets that sometimes the fun alone is blowing cars up. And before you jump into this game I felt that id teach you guys the top 3 best pursuit tech you can use. these are THE pursuit techs to get and this game
1. Turbo. Nothing comes close. it get you out of a bad situation in a race and pursuit and even if your opponent is close to the finish line turbo can go full blown clutch at the end shoot you past the opponents car before it wins the race.
2. EMP its a pretty good power wise but is useless against way faster cars cause of the fact that it need to be in front of the car your targeting for a specific amount of time (depending on which level it is) so don't pick this up until your car can keep up with any car.3rd Shockwave or Shock Ram depending on which career your on. The both do ok damage but the great thing about them is that they require no time at all to work meaning you can get small chip of damage quickly instead of having wait for a big burst and the best is once fully upgraded they do more damage and have more ammo (same goes for all other pursuit techs)So there you best game ever period.
Need For Speed Rivals is more of a mixed bag for me. The landscape is stunning and so are the graphics. Its an intense, fast paced NFS, and it feels good to play a cop in it. It has great jumps. Here's where it's not so impressive- a small map, where you see each location over and over again. Same tasks over and over. After a while I got bored, and I was happy once I finished both racing and cop carrers. Mixed bag overall, not terrible.
