As much as you think it is, the game IS NOT FREE
It is made to look like progression is somewhat managable, until post-ww2. You WILL NEVER have enough SL to actually buy the tanks you grind for an unreasonable amount of time.
The price you pay for premium is the price of the game, it's basically a monthly subscription, that penalizes you if you don't buy it.
Adding that almost all of the new premium tanks are always high-tier over priced and over powered, basically telling you to buy it to make grinding somewhat "fun"
