Jedi: Survivor is an amazing game. It improves on basically everything that Fallen Order started with new powers, more lightsaber stances, better combat and so much more customization. You can play the game the way you like, with whatever playstyle you prefer.

The story is also great with some old friends coming back and new faces showing up. It's clear that Cal evolved so much since the first game and his entire arc shows it. He's a great protagonist and the game makes sure that you feel as close to him as possible.

I could go on but I'm gonna get to the point, because you're probably wondering "if this guy loves the game so much, then why the hell is this review negative?", and that is because of one simple thing that sours the whole experience and makes it really hard to enjoy the game as a whole: performance.

The game just doesn't seem to work properly whenever you get to a slightly larger area, which composes basically 60% of the entire game. You can be playing the story normally but as soon as you try exploring or going to a different area, there's a pretty good chance your frames will drop to 20 with constant stutters and just general instability. And that's universal, no matter if you upgrade your PC every two months with the latest parts, there's a pretty good chance that you'll be having headaches from the constant drops and frame instability.

The worst part is the game is absolutely amazing, it's everything I expected from a Fallen Order sequel and more but I can't even walk on the main hub without having my frames jumping up and down with unpredictable drops every 10 seconds. It's completely unacceptable that a game can be launched like this on PC while the console versions of the game have basically no issue running it. Because that's the main problem here, if you even interact with the game's UI for a few minutes you'll see that this was made to be played with a controller, on a console. Some of the UIs literally have no mouse support forcing you to use WASD. It's not unusable, but you can see that they (EA/Respawn) weren't giving half a ♥♥♥♥ about the PC community and forgot to optimize the game for PC users.

I hope that one day they'll fix the performance issues and make the game run smoothly as a whole. When that happens, I'll be the first to change my review to reflect how the game REALLY plays and how good it really can be. Until then, I can't recommend this to anyone. Wait until the issues are actually fixed and then think of getting the game.
