I'm writing today to enquire about the rules and restrictions on importing something like a sword into Perth. Specifically, I would like to purchase a katana from China and i'm wondering if it'll get seized at customs should I choose to buy it. I've looked around and haven't been able to locate specific information about this as different sources say different things so i'm asking directly here if you guys can point me into the direction where I may find this information or even better provide me with an answer on whether or not it's allowed.
I'll give a few specifics that might help determining whether or not it's allowed;
Total length 103cm with a blade length of 72.5cm
Handle length 21cm and blade width 3.9cm
Thickness 0.5cm weight 1400 (1100g without sheath)
