I think I saw someone said it in this steam review section where if you enjoy skyrim, you will enjoy this game. couldnt agree more.

After finishing it once i thought the game would be terrible for replayability, but im actually enjoying myself more on the second playthrough, (maybe its just because i learned to ignore the boring and irrelevant quests that i went through the first time LMAO). But yeah a lot of the side quests when you enter a new zone go collect this go claim that like its suddenly a collectathon or something. like who in the right mind think that collecting pieces of rocks fun?

the game's pacing is also pretty weird compared to DAO, because in DAO they made a great illusion of time moving forward every step you walk. In Inquisition you can see changes, but not as big as what DAO did. It is underwhelming in comparison.

The main villain (Corypheus) is painfully boring and doesn't evoke any sense of real threat at all. Like he is washed up. Its insane considering the fact that the main villain in DAO despite having 0 dialogues came off way more interesting than this shell of a darkspawn loser. His underlings are way more interesting than him (isnt exactly a high bar to begin with tbh)

i think overall i enjoy hanging out with every companions, though I do wish there is like a proper morally grey companion because they dont exist here. It makes sense why, but that i think loses some rpg elements to it. They are all good natured, in many weird and different ways.they are all still very good though.

If you're a fan of deep and thorough rpg, this is definitely the game for you. Ive never played the original Divinity so I have no say in what's better or if it has been dumbed down or improve, but all I can say is that the choices matter a lot. The game tries hard to push you into experimenting different types of abilities and skills and everything about it just feels hella rewarding. (Im still playing without mods)
Ive some complaints, the companions dont really talk to each other. Spose that makes sense, but come on. Really? no interactions between them? just a lil nitpick though. The companions themselves arent all that special, but they get the job done so theres nothing to be dissapointed for it
The second complaint is the quest marker, because my god I was raised as a gamer to be handheld like a baby. And these quest markers aint ♥♥♥♥. The quest journal is also pretty all over the place. But I guess this is as accessible as this type of game can be so I cannot complain too much.
But overall, fantastic game. Very great, combat is fun, exploring is hella fun, them dialogues are fun, I still havent used any of the crafting system so I cant say anything about that, the progression is funthe characters presented in the game are great, the visuals are a sight to behold, and the music ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slaps.

ive played like 165 hours of vanilla version on the switch.
when i got this game on pc, now i feel like im insane for being able to play this game unmodded for that many hours, its surreal how much modding improves this game overall

A masterfully crafted RPG game. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banger of a debut game. A masterpiece!
Even if you despise the gameplay, there are so many things to love about it, and you can customize auto combat which is crazy (tbh i never used it so idk if it actually works)
The companions in this game are done flawlessly. I literally have no companions that I hated walking around with for my entire journey.
Story is paced really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well, Love the respect progression everyone has the more they hear about your insane feats (take note bethesda you piece of sht company)
Just kinda wished there'd be a little bit more variety of enemies, but this is just a minor complaint against the collosal positives it shoves down my throat.
Love this game.
10/10

sure wish it was optimized though

Can't believe bethesda made this. This is leagues better than whatever the FARK THAT MAIN QUEST IN FALLOUT IS.The only downsides of this DLC is the uh puzzle section, which you know is still commendable because it is a unique gameplay but man it gets old really fast. But other than that? Wow, again bethesda made tthis. The story is engaging, the sides you pick actually lead to different endings of the island which is amazing and the atmosphere is TOP NOTCH. 9/10 DLC. dont buy this dlc without discount though

This game took a lot of good ideas from great games, but somehow didnt manage to flesh any of it's ideas out. Every mechanics are as shallow as skyrim where theres just no improvement to anyhting.

The cooking is very strange, because you dont even get to upgrade the cooking station, and for some reason they didnt think of a follower who can cook. fishing is just simplified from stardew valley, which i find less purposeful the more i go through the game. Again, if followers could fish by you building fishing stations it would be quite good. Marriage is also very VERY shallow, like when you marry another follower all they do is keep their thoughts in their minds and reduced faith. Like man let me see my man getting jealous and engage in fisticuff showdown or something like start a drama wtf (at least its better than skyrim marriage(which is not saying alot))

For some reason, theres no ranged weapons. I get that some of the cards provide projectile ability but thats it? really? the demons are quite a decent addition though and I guess thats a viable ranged. the combat provides a teeny bit of a challenge, even me who plays like a journalist can breeze through them easily. Unless if I got a dagger then I die. I do quite like how the main bosses are just basic enemies that are cranked up to a fifty, as it makes you learning the enemies patterns and movements does make up on reaching the boss. But again, it isnt as challenging as I thought it would be, considering it is a roguelike/roguelite game.

I dont know if im stupid, but you cant even reject when recruiting followers, so why even bother showing the downsides and good sides for them? I just dont see the point. And I barely have the time to customize them because of how time works in this game.

But again, if you mashed together good buncha ideas and crammed it into a game, it is gonna be somewhat good. And this game is somewhat good. I enjoyed a bit of my time with it, but I sure as hell wont replay it again. (7-/10)

Its a very short game, and its free.
I think with a little more polishing here and there, and maybe like make characters more than just a hunch of a 1 dimensional characters i think this really could go somewhere.
but for what it is, id say its pretty good.
