God of War (2018): A Masterful Blend of Brutality and Beauty

Playing the game on PC again after 4 years , so a small review from my side :)

Story: A Norse Saga Worth Telling (9/10)
God of War’s narrative is a refreshing departure from the Greek mythology-laden series. The bond between Kratos and Atreus is the heart of the game, and their journey through the Norse world is both emotionally resonant and action-packed. The story is well-paced, with interesting characters and plenty of twists and turns. While the plot is predictable at times, it’s the character development that truly shines.

Gameplay: A Symphony of Violence and Exploration (9.5/10)
The combat system is a masterpiece. The Leviathan Axe is a joy to wield, and the variety of enemies keeps things interesting. The addition of Runic Attacks adds depth and strategy to the combat. Exploration is rewarding, with hidden secrets and challenging puzzles. The game manages to balance action and exploration seamlessly.

Graphics and Audio: A Feast for the Senses (9.5/10)
God of War is a visual stunner. The game's environments are breathtaking, and the character models are incredibly detailed. The sound design is equally impressive, with the roar of the Leviathan Axe and the haunting score creating an immersive atmosphere.

Performance: Smooth as Butter (9/10)
The game runs smoothly on most systems, with minimal frame drops. Load times are relatively short, and the overall performance is excellent.

Replayability: More Than Just a One-Time Adventure (8/10)
While the main campaign is satisfying, the game offers enough challenges and collectibles to encourage multiple playthroughs. New Game Plus adds a layer of difficulty and rewards for returning players.

Overall: A Modern Classic (9.2/10)
God of War (2018) is a triumph in every aspect. It’s a game that redefines the action-adventure genre, offering a compelling story, satisfying gameplay, and stunning visuals. It’s a must-play for any gamer, regardless of whether you’re a fan of the series or not.

Pros:

Engaging story
Exceptional combat
Stunning visuals
Strong character development
Immersive world

Cons:

Some predictable plot points
Replayability could be improved

Overall:
A masterpiece that sets a new standard for the genre.

I bought RDR2 and Cyberpunk together.

Damn such a huge gaping difference between the two.

One is freaking beautiful and other one is ... well dirty AF.
Environment looks clumsy and ugly as ♥♥♥♥ to look at ...

RDR2 runs in my system without any hiccups and Cyberpunk even today having issues loading up characters in time.

I bought the Ultimate Edition after reading through a lot of reviews, sadly it turned out to be more or less the same experience of the game I had back in 2020/2021..

Adios Cyberpunk , never trying you out again

FC24: Where Virtual Football Meets Real-Life Frustration

Gameplay: Pass, Shoot, Rage Repeat (6/10)
So, you think you can control Messi with the finesse of a seasoned footballer? Think again. FC24 is a beautiful game to watch, but controlling your players feels like trying to herd cats in a hurricane. You’ll spend more time screaming at the TV than scoring goals.

Graphics: Looks Like a Dream, Plays Like a Nightmare (8/10)
EA Sports has outdone itself with the visuals. Players look like hyper-realistic wax figures, and the stadiums are jaw-dropping. But don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. The gameplay is a different story altogether.

Ultimate Team: Pay to Win or Pay to Cry (5/10)
Ah, Ultimate Team, the digital casino where you can spend real money to build a virtual dream team. Or you can spend countless hours grinding for rewards and still end up with a squad that couldn't beat your local Sunday league team. Your choice!

Career Mode: Becoming a Manager is Harder Than Rocket Science (7/10)
You’ll experience the full spectrum of emotions in Career Mode: the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and the mind-numbing tedium of press conferences. Your star player will suddenly become injury-prone just when you need him most, and the AI will always seem to know your next move.

Overall: A Game of Two Halves (6.5/10)
FC24 is a game of contrasts: beautiful graphics, frustrating gameplay; addictive Ultimate Team, soul-crushing Career Mode. It’s like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get. But one thing’s for sure, you’ll be experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions.

Pros:**

Pretty graphics
Addictive gameplay (sometimes)
Can be a great stress reliever (when you’re not raging)

Cons:**

Frustrating gameplay mechanics
Overreliance on microtransactions
AI that could use a brain transplant

Overall:**
If you enjoy masochism and have a deep pocket, FC24 is the game for you. Otherwise, stick to watching real football.
