I have never played a turn-based PC game. Now I have. And I want more. Fortunately, this game offers more and after 90 hours of gameplay, I have not yet finished the campaign. I already know that I am going to replay the whole thing at least two times and try different approach. For 60 € this was an Absolute bargain.

It has been more than 15 years ago when I first played the original Sacred and I am a bit disappointed that only the Gold version made it to Steam. The Original felt more balanced and chaotic and the content added in Gold feels different, as if it had a slightly different artstyle sometimes. Either way, nostalgia is strong with this one and it is still a hell of a good game. It was the first game in my life, I was a little child when it came out, and it brings up good memories to this day. Try it.

P.S.: If a genuine remake was made, I would happily buy it for the price of a new game.

A classic.

I still did not beat the game, but after 130 hours and a few runs I can safely say that this is, indeed, an extremely good one. There is a ton of DLCs with a TON of content, however, I have to warn you. This game is developed by Paradox Interactive, so it is not going to be cheap to get them.

Other than that, big thumbs up and I cannot wait to declare war a bit too soon once again and get my territory obliterated by an army using wormholes, while my only two fleets are busy holding the frontline.

Are you even a gamer if you haven't tried this? A game that has it all, the only con would be replayability. Modding community is, however, giant and there is enough for hundreds of hours of gameplay.

My childhood and to this day one of the best multiplayer FPS game. It has flaws and they can sometimes get quite major, but you are definitely going to have fun with this game. And lose your sanity once you start playing competitively.
