Sony listened to the community and PSN+ will no longer be required moving forward. It was a power hungry move, had no reason at all other than slippery slope us into their upcoming launcher.

It's good to see community backlash pressed them to listen to us. Good job, people. Maybe they'll start being upfront about using accounts for online from the start next time.
