post launch psn linking mandatory requirement is really bad, especially since they sold the game to people in countries where you legally cannot have a psn account, knowing that they would one day attempt to make this mandatory. a truly scummy move from a scummy publisher

I love the movement, and getting ACE (best medal possible) makes you feel like you're a god amongst mortals. The game has a few mechanics that can help you out with routing if you're lost too.

reject humanity
return to monke

besides all the memes, the game feels great and awesome when you get good, there's nothing like outplaying those who are chasing you with a couple of epic jumps and bounces. 11/10 would monke again.

I simply cannot recommend for anyone to play this game in its current state. Fighting against just normal enemies is fine, but I started fighting against some cybernetically enhanced badass and it just feels awful. They dodge like 90% of my bullets and your own dodge ability moves you like 6 inches so you'll get hit by pretty much everything. In my experience, combat boils down to shooting then healing out all the damage. It doesn't feel like there's any real strategy other than click heads and heal. There's no transmog system (no cosmetic clothing) so you'll always look like a clown. The cybernetics themselves feel super underwhelming, though maybe better ones show up later. They are nice, but they don't have that feel like I think they should, though that might be a personal preference.

I got this game for free from a steam summer sale event a while back, and I have to say I'm glad I didn't buy it. I can't recommend it for nearly anything. If you could get it for 20$, maybe. I simply can't enjoy the game right now, hopefully in a few months when CDPR gets their ♥♥♥♥ together it will be playable. For now it will collect dust in my library.

This game is a great vibe. The soundtrack is hands down one of the best for any video game. It's perfect for this game. It can keep you focused, but also relaxed. Playing on Open Shift is super relaxing to play without any time limits or oxygen drain if you chose. With a variety of different modes (Infinite respawns, limited respawns, or no respawns) And the option between timed shifts (15 minutes) or Open Shifts (no time limit) I think anyone can find a mode they will enjoy.

Pretty bad, dead game. Abandonware in all but name. Play Prelude instead.

Nothing like chugging around the moon with your pals. Running a convoy, lookin' for cool things. Great fun. I had a ton of fun shooting for all the achievements with a friend. Good stuff.

The first time I played this game, way back in alpha, I think was a blast. We had a full server of 8 people, and we cleared out a huge area of forest to build a massive wall. It was great, and even playing today with friends can be a blast. I really do think this game is fun on your own, but it becomes amazing when playing with others.

I love this game. I find this game so enjoyable, and the custom races/civilizations makes this game so repeatable. Want to play a hive mind? Build one suited for ultimate victory, or one for role play. Write a story for your empire, Why do they do what they do? Have fun, and try not to die a horrible death at the hands of a devouring swarm or a very grumpy fallen empire. Good luck, because the galaxy is not a forgiving place.

It's a beautiful game. Looks amazing, and pretty realistic.
Runs well, updates semi-regularly, and the devs use Trello so you can keep track of their progress. Experimental versions are also another good way to help the devs.

If you have VR, you can use it.
(Stay away from deep water if you do)

So, this review is in dire need of an update. After the full game lauch, I won't lie, I was very sad finishing the game. I had played this game in early access, and watched it grow from just a baisc exploration game with the hints of a story, to a full game with an exordinary and compelling story. It really is an amazing game. You won't be disappointed.
