Simply put, it's the greatest movement system in an FPS. Ever. Now go play it.

Need more convincing ? Well where do I even start with this one. Releasing as a sequel to the Respawn Entertainment's hyped debut multiplayer shooter appropriately titled Titanfall, there was a SIGNIFICANT amount of pressure placed on its success - having been placed perfectly between the release windows of Infinite Warfare and EA's own highly anticipated Battlefield 1, it's almost as if the studio was setup for commercial failure and it's simply a testament to the sheer quality of this game that to this day people still laud it for incredible accomplishments in design, gameplay and for essentially being the stepping stone for the phenomenon that is Apex Legends.

On the surface, sure it may seem like your generic shooter with robots and graphics that aren't hyper-realistic. But honestly, running on the Source engine, they've done spectacular work here. The colours are diverse and pop, the missions are all varied and being that it runs on Source, it's extremely well optimised for any PC to handle.

Ah, the campaign, Short yet OH, SO. SWEET.. The levels are all highly replayable, with the wall running mechanics being an absolute joy to master and create epic action sequences with - there's a relatively easy learning curve and the game will force you to get good at it which i wholly respect as ultimately it will only empower you as a player to feel like that mech-riding badass you are. Speaking of which , you'll play as generic name generator Pilot, Jack Cooper who is thrust into the control and a "neural link" of sorts with his mentor's Titan, BT-7274 - over the course of your journey together, you'll of course just form the greatest of bonds! Oh and besides the wall-running there is a certain mechanic introduced on a level of the campaign which is equally one of the coolest things I've ever seen done in a game. No spoilers. Just play it.

Thus leaving me with the equally as fantastic multiplayer mode! As of writing, there's approximately 5500 people still playing and yes the learning curve is certainly harder here as you'll be playing with a lot of veterans but that's not to say there's no fun to be had. Simply moving around is already fun on its own, but the chaos that goes on in Attrition with a bunch of Titans wreckin' the battlefield and you being able to take 'em all out is just indescribable. If you enjoy the gun fights of Apex , imagine that amplified to take place every couple of seconds. No running around for ages here. Just pure pilotvpilotvmechvmech adrenaline action.
