Better than Diablo. Better than Torchlight. Better than Titan Quest. This is honestly the best ARPG I have played in my life. I truly love the amount of carefully crafted lore an the fact that Exploration ALWAYS gets some kind of cool reward, be it extra experience from finding hidden lore or powerful magical items, or extra crafting materials, there is always something hidden in that last corner, or around that next bend. You never find yourself having worked your way to some far obscure edge of the map and NOT find at least a corpse with a letter and/or a handful of scrap. I will admit I like games that have more, and reward exploration, Torchlight and Diablo do this to a degree, but not to the degree provided by Grim Dawn, I have poked my way to a far flung corner in Diablo only to find an empty space, I have grumbled and cursed at finding a way to get to an obscure area in Torchlight only to find it devoid of even monsters. I have never found a way to the dank corner and not at least found a few Iron Bits. I wish more games did as much to encourage exploration as Grim Dawn, especially among ARPG titles.

I will keep this simple: Forager is a truly amazing game that is a joy to play. I strongly recommend trying it as it is a beautiful and unique survival-craft style game with many unique elements. 11/10 best of the best.

Terrible storytelling, heavy handed plots, shoehorning into unavoidable situations. If this was a DnD game I would beat the GM until the urinated blood for being a heavy handed idiot. This game is basically a collection of MOST of the worst tropes in role-playing games and quite honestly I do not understand how this game got a SINGLE good review. If I could give multiple negative reviews I would. The story often leaves ZERO options to be able to say "No, I do not want to do that." It is more like, say yes and it will happen, say no and it will happen slowly and inexorably and you cannot stop it. FURTHER, Yennefer is quite frankly a person I would LITERALLY prefer to just murder and be done with it. She is mean, spiteful, stupid and high on her own power. She doesn't care who she hurts or how. Quite honestly a person I feel would be better in noose. FURTHER, the other love interest is apparently so easy to screw up you should probably not bother. FURTHER, why in the world does it feel like Geralt, someone who is supposed to be strong for a Witcher, feel like tissue paper held together by a single layer of cling wrap? I mean, seriously, he cannot break the guard of a single lower level peasant with a shield and can hammer away on the shield for days on end and it will never drop. This guy is supposed to be a super powered mutant, he should be strong enough to shatter the arm of a normal human RIGHT THROUGH their shield. I am not saying everyone, but anyone equal or lower level. Also, I am not a very active person but I feel like I would have more Stamina than Geralt, and the fact he has to take a potion to have any better night vision than a half blind normal human. I definitely have WAY better night vision than Geralt, it is ridiculous to have a character based on the concept of "I gave up my ability to reproduce for mutant powers so I can fight monsters," not being able to just shatter most human strength characters like a sack of glass. It is NONSENSE. Based on the powers that Geralt has versus a basic human with moderate skill, I feel like the human is strong in basically EVERY situation. Also, I am really tired of the "lets take away abilities and throw the player into a mandatory fight," Whoever thought it would be a good idea to take away healing items during a fistfight needs to NEVER be allowed to work in this industry again. This kind of idiotic artificial difficulty spiking is so tiresome it literally RUINS every game I find it in, which is a lot of so called "AAA Titles." I have not seen a truly good game from a "AAA Game Company" in my ENTIRE gaming career. This is a terrible example of this problem where coders seem to have built a game but not bothered to actually play it themselves to see how the actual system functions. I may be wrong on this, but I do not see how else such TERRIBLE and UNPLAYABLE segments get into games in the first place. And in case you were not aware I am of course referring to the terrible fistfight with the Bloody Baron.

So, in summary, this game has terrible storytelling, terrible power curve, and honestly is in need of some drastic playtesting and patching to make it something actually worth playing, honestly wish I could still get my money back.

This is not a review, this is a love letter to one of the greatest games I have ever played. Stardew Valley itself is a love letter to the entire Harvest Moon and Rune Factory series, and it is a very well written love letter, describing both the beauty of those series, and buffing out some of the worst flaws. I am honestly enthralled by this game and have bought it both on Steam and on Google Play, because I want to be able to play this game whenever I want.

Game crashes approximate 3 seconds after the LOOONG unskippable intro sequence and before the first time the game saves. I have tried several fixes to remedy the issue and watched the irritating intro sequence enough times I find myself cussing at my computer I am so tired of listening to the stupid intro sequence. STRONGLY recommend NO ONE EVER BUY ANY EA PRODUCT, especially not Burnout.
Utterly unplayable.

Terrible. The control layout is clunky and difficult to control. The game speed is too fast, like, character movements and such are faster than human, and this DOES NOT work to the player's advantage somehow. Also, aiming is terrible, the controls and too twitchy and you will commonly overshoot your target because your character moves too fast making it difficult to have accurate movements. Further, I have had more than one occasion where I attempt to perform an action and the game simply does not respond to inputted commands. This is the ONE and ONLY way I have died in this game, that is right, in the two hours I have played I have ONLY died when my character spontaneously decided they were not going to respond to commands allowing the aliens to hit me while my character was standing completely still.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS GAME, WASTE OF MONEY!

Excellent game play coupled with excellent storytelling, a tight combat system with an excellent dodge mechanic, well designed characters who feel real and vibrant, rich lore, and choices that feel like they deeply impact the game world. I am also REALLY amazed by the number of pro-women, pro-minority, pro-LGBTQ+ themes, further the main character can be played as someone who was a "fire-breathing revolutionary" who was meeting suffragettes and standing on picket lines defending workers when he wasn't working at a charity hospital before the war. I really enjoy hearing the main character have a voiced conversation where he tells a gay couple to stand up for their love after having just given both of them fully free treatment including psychological counsel to them both as a fellow war veteran.

TL;DR: Amazing game, may offend bigots.

WARNING: THIS GAME IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! Almost as addictive as that new Jet mix the raiders are cooking up. *twitch* So welcome to the wasteland, The Boston Wasteland, Bean Town, The Diamond, and all that old revolutionary war junk laying around everywhere. Almost makes a ghoul want to walk out into the glowing sea so I don't have to see one more ugly statue of Paul Revere or whichever bloke was famous in this part of town. So feel free to blow everything to the next apocalypse, or try to save all the flesh bags on limited timers despite the futility of it all. Or you can take my advise and just do what feels good, ain't no point doing otherwise with the world gone to pot and burned out to boot.

Intricate yet simple, elegant and beautiful. This game is so amazing in its ability to put so much control in the players hands while not letting them directly alter anything but the most basic elements of the factory and its machinery. The entirety of the game is learning to optimize the systems of the factory by building efficient layouts and providing clear access between zones for your workers. This game is SO easy to learn, but will take many years to truly master. Ten out of Ten, truly a great game.

I am less than an hour into the game and I have found my first game breaking glitch. I have a giant orange box covering my cursor telling me to select a mission. The mission in question cannot be selected until I liberate a town. I cannot liberate the town because I have a GIANT ORANGE BOX covering my cursor preventing me from using the cross-hairs. I didn't pay good money to NOT play the game. This kind of brainless nonsense is why modern triple A gaming has turned into a three ring circus of failure, scandal, and outrage which has not produced a innovative title in almost a decade. And Square Enix is the WORST of them. This being a perfect example.
