Early Access Review
Game currently far too buggy for enjoyable play, including locked stats for the starting HQ which can make it very difficult to adapt to maps with larger buildings as the HQ will have the stats of a small building even if you choose a high-rise or a skyscraper. I will happily change this once the issues are fixed.

OwlCat Studios has done it again. This is honestly a brilliant game and an excellent way for RPG fans to explore the worlds of the 41st millennium. This game does for the Rogue Trader TTRPG what the previous OwlCat offerings have done for Pathfinder, giving a deeply immersive and entertaining way to enjoy a huge swathe of gameplay options within the world of the game, and get lost in the story of the 41st millennium.

This is the definitive "Be a Force Wielder" game to date. A brilliant RPG with a brilliant story in one of my favorite science fiction worlds. I love that the game lets you choose your path within the force and doesn't push the player to either light side or dark side.

Like a darkly humorous version of Harvest Moon.

Simple to play, difficult to master. This game rewards creativity.

Can be infuriatingly frustrating at the start. My advise to get more enjoyment from the game is SLOW DOWN. Take you time, go three or four generations or more before evolving, always get the maximum number of kids each generation, and explore EVERYTHING, one thing at a time.

HILARIOUS! Also a surprisingly solid FPS. Drunken 1980's post apocalyptic humor. Basically exactly what it says on the tin.

I do not know how the economy is supposed to work in this game, but I am utterly tired of having 18 plantations between 6 and 8 mines, a handful of logging camps, one each of tannery, distillery, and lumber mill, zero unemployment and less than a dozen empty work positions and roughly 1 Teamster office per 2-3 other work buildings and still being stuck unable to make enough money.

I love this game. i really am not sure how to explain how awesome I find this wonderful game. Sure, there are bugs, and sure, there are parts of the story I find entirely frustrating, and sure, some of the characters seem like they have a very restrictive story arc, but overall this game is beautiful, well designed and has a deeply engaging story. My biggest request for something for them to add to the game is options to send OTHER heroic types on quests as the Baron/King, and while I love the craftfolk already in the game I feel like the game would do well with maybe a few more artisans and craftfolk. Also, I wish there were more options for powerful late game weapons of every weapon class, I am finding this game likes to give a lot of super powered swords, quarterstaffs, short bows, and heavy crossbows, there is a painfully limited selection of options, especially for the ubiquitously commonly preferred scimitar. I would also like to see more non-violent resolution options, and I think you folks need to take a long look at dispel magic and its variants and actually give it some kind of use in the game, as I have not been able to find anything that the spell actually does in-game, I tried to use it to end a negative spell effect and it did nothing.

Well, lets start with the fact this game has the WORST case of auto-hit syndrome I have EVER seen in an ARPG. Seriously seems like EVERY attack is an AOE, with MASSIVELY huge areas effected for the size of the attack on the screen, EXCEPT when the player attacks, player attacks have ridiculously SMALL areas of effect where sometimes my weapons seem to go THROUGH the sprite of the entity I am attacking but the entity does not take damage. FURTHER, a dodge mechanic is POINTLESS if it cannot actually allow you to avoid damage. FURTHER, someone from the programmers BADLY needs to actually play test this game themselves, as if they had I suspect they would have realized that there are areas where the game is ridiculous in its lack of save point functionality, healing abilities, AND lack of a functional dodge mechanic making some areas basically pure LUCK to get through, unless you want to GRIND for HOURS. Great, another Diablo clone with too much grinding, again, go do something original. Viking skin half done Diablo clone is terrible.
