Badly written story and forced, full of cliché. Tedious UI/UX in managing your troops and items. 0 filter/search functions to make it even remotely bearable when you have more than 6 squads.

Highly recommend. The devs have built a wonderful world and story in this game. Lots of love and care put into the details.

It's a bit short and replayability is limited to 2-3 runs max. That will run you 10-15 hours. The game did provide me a lot of fun. Worth it.

Short and sweet game. It does scratch that Xcom itch from time to time without overwhelming or stressing you with the heavier tone and higher difficulty of Xcom 2.

Really like the Breach and encounter mechanic. It makes a much faster experience in combat. On the other hand, it takes away the tension of moving slowly and prepare for "♥♥♥♥ hitting the fan" situations like in Xcom 1 and 2.

The only grind I have with this game is it was a bit on the easier side. I played on Expert mode with 0 heal in between encounters, even then, late game was really a breeze. I'd suggest trying the highest difficulty with 0 heal if you're an experience Commander in other Xcoms.

Lots of great tracks to play, really well made game!

Good story, very few bugs, BUT the gameplay is PAINFULLY SLOW!
If you want to get your time wasted watching your ship crawl from one place to the other (intentionally done by the Devs to artificially lengthen the play time) then by all means. Otherwise, your time is better spent playing some other games.

And don't tell me getting better engine will make it run faster, because it won't (or barely noticeable with the fastest engine), but in order to do that, you have to invest a good 10-15 hours of grinding and watching your snail of a ship crawl across the zea.
