and it was definitely worth the wait. This game has left me speechless.

To all the Half-Life fans out there: You NEED to play this game!

One of the best games of the generation. A perfect mesh of the old with the new. The gameplay loop of DOOM 2016 is so good that I keep coming back to play time and time again. After the introduction of arcade mode, I started coming back to play at least once a week. Still do. If you haven't played this one yet, PLEASE do yourself a favor and pick it up! If only DOOM Eternal could come sooner! :P

Compared to the recent releases in the Call of Duty franchise, (*cough* Advanced Warfare and Ghosts *cough*) this game is a huge step-up. Its definitely not the #1 best Call of Duty game ever made, but its up there on the list for me. The game runs great on my PC with a few small hiccups here and there but its nothing game-breaking.


Look, Treyarch has brought COD back. They made an amazing game and have made a worthwhile "port" to the PC. Also, with mod tools coming in 2016, this game is going to have limitless amounts of content created for it. If you want an idea of what to expect from these mod tools, just take a look at WaW.


I personally rate this game an 8/10. I spent $100 on this game and haven't regretted it. If you don't pick it up now, I highly reccomend picking it up on sale at some point in time.

Best $20 ever spent.

-4 player splitscreen support (Yeah, splitscreen support for PC)
-Addictive gameplay
-No microtransactions
-Cross-platform play with PS4 users
-All content is unlockable from in-game, and has lots of content
-Recognizes what controller you're actually using (If you use a XB1 controller, you see XB1 controller buttons in-game. If you use a PS4 controller, PS4 controller buttons appear in-game)

This much content for only $20. That's more content then what you get out of games today for $60+.

10/10 in my book.

Black Mesa is a full-on remake of the original Half-Life, which was one of my favorite games of all time. I've been following the mod for a few years, eagerly awaiting the full release of the game, and, well, Half-Life 3.

Well. now at least one of those are out, and in Early Access, at least. If you have played through the mod before and don't feel like dropping $20 on this game, there are some very noticeable differences and additions made to the Steam release that the mod doesn't have. New reload animations, graphical updates, map layout tweaks, workshop support, and even a Multiplayer Deathmatch mode that remastered some of the original Half-Life Deathmatch maps. However, the game still isn't done. Xen is not available at the time of this review (Hence, Early Access) and there are some bugs, so it definitely isn't finished.

However, the amount of content you get for only $20 is downright outstanding. I would've gladly dropped $60 on this game right now, even in its state of Early Access. Although I only have about 2 hours on Black Mesa at the time of writing this review, the amount of nostalgia and fun I've had playing through this masterpeice is unspeakable. This is THE best version of Half-Life.

If you've never played any of the Half-Life games before, or even a Half-Life nerd (like me :P) looking for an excuse to play Half-Life again, this is your chance!

One of the best Call of Duty games of all time. It is definitely worth the $20 price tag and is actually playable compared to the console versions of the game (same for WaW) When I was originally going to get this game for PC, I was skeptical whether or not MP would be dead, plagued with hackers, or no vanilla esc servers. Boy was I wrong. There are plenty of servers that are populated (20+ ppl per server) that use their own Anti-Cheat, so hackers are rare. If there is a hacker, they usually get banned from the server within 10 minutes by an admin. If you are also weary about not finding any Vanilla COD 4 servers don't worry either. There are several servers that run the game in its original state without mods installed. Don't get me wrong, mods are fun and almost always make games a much better experience, but its fun to go back and play the barebones version of the game.

But seriously, if you have never played COD 4 before, BUY IT AND PLAY IT!

This game is very fun and addicting. I was a bit skeptical of this game at first since it was Free to Play, but once I started playing I had an absolute blast playing with friends. Unlike other games in this genre, this game is very easy to get into, learn, and even set up. One of the problems with other zombie survival games like this is how 99% of the time its shoot first ask questions later. Unturned fixes this problem (in a way) by allowing you to disable PvP so everybody is friendly, so once you come across someone with a gun you won't get shot in the face before you can even introduce yourself.

The game can feel overwhelming at first, especially learning how to kill/get rid of zombies when you're a fresh spawn. I myself still don't have all the crafting recipes memorized and still haven't figured out how to build a house. Although, thats something that I like about this game because you're always learning something new on how to survive in the world, and makes you want to keep playing even more.

The game does have its cons as well, but one of the biggest problems that I had with Unturned is being worked on by the dev right now and is supposed to be implemented very soon into the game. This problem being the servers themselves, but like I said the dev is working on changing the game to use Steam Networking, and will allow you to play with friends much easier. My only other big problem with the game right now is the map size, but I'm sure at some point the game will receive new/bigger map(s). There are 2 maps in the game right now, one being I think called PEI and another Arena based type of map. I haven't played the Arena map yet, but with the map size of PEI you can go across the mainland by car in about 10-15 minutes or less.

Like I said above the game is pretty much being changed all the time with new content, bug fixes, etc. Most of the things I dislike about the game like I said above will most likely change in time. If I had to give this game a score, I'd say this game is an 8.5/10. Even if you were skeptical of the game like I was at first, go ahead and download it and give it a try. Its free and only a 50MB download.
