Video games are great, don't you think? Although to some they can seem like a waste of time, they can be hugely rewarding as a hobby. As life's gone on, games have played a smaller role in my life, and I admit I'm glad for that. Still, every now and then I get pulled into that same wonder-like immersion that these virtual worlds and experiences can offer.

I've met a lot of friends through gaming, and still games are a way to keep in contact with friends I can't often meet up with. I cherish that. It seems almost unreal what a plethora of meaningful experiences I've been able to share through a monitor with people I care about. Granted, they are virtual experiences. But that doesn't make them any less impactful.
