If you want a challenging puzzle game w/ co-op and replay value, then look no further!

Don't worry about the specs. Runs on potat PCs, just make sure your GPU supports at least Directx version 9.0c.

No doubt that you'll fall in love with the characters, story and gameplay.

Oh it also has taunts/emotes and hats, so it's good if you like Team Fortress 2 :D

My honest opinion? It combines simple mechanics to create a mind-boggling puzzles, you could spend a solid two hours trying to figure out a room before, eventually, giving up... HOWEVER - should you complete the room, you'll get to experience the most blessed clarity in your life. My IQ increases by 0.02 each time I solve a puzzle.

Co-op amplifies the enjoyment too. And since it's a convenient game that can practically run on any PC, you should be able to co-op this with your grandmother or flat chested goth GF that has never played a game in her life - or just a bud.

It's alright. Albeit many overexaggerate it as the "best puzzle game", it's free and it has a cute artstyle, the actual puzzles are way too short and I never really was a fan of box puzzles. Regardless of that, it had a decent take on bosses.

One of those rare instances where a mod transforms to something completely new. NMRiH will most certainly appeal to those loyal to the slow-paced zombie genre.

Graphics - 9/10 - Source Engine still looks amazing to me, and on top of that it runs well too - mods well too!

Gameplay - 9/10 - Slow-paced zombie loot hoarding at it's finest, I doubt you can find a better one at that in any HL2 mod.

Ambience and Sounds - 10/10 - Great satisfying sounds, amazing soundtrack and a very moody aura that wraps it all together, wouldn't have envisioned it better myself.

Mechanics 10/10 - Very unique and easy to use inventory will provide you with everything you need, the game smartly plays around the inventory by tying it with your stamina consumption, balancing it between people who prefer to run around with a rifle or those that just prefer having a machete.

It really is like they say, the best things are free in life. Negative reviews for this game = skill issue

As much as I'd want to recommend this game, I just can't.

So many years have passed and the same flaws and mistakes that it's made are still present in the game.

Perk decks are just a mess, some aren't even used and then you got others like Stoic which make Death Wish seem much easier than it's supposed to. Balancing in this game is complete garbage.

There are certain weapons which are complete DIRECT upgrades, so even if this game has an amazing lot of weapons, you really won't be seeing much use of most of them. You are able to make anything viable if you're spicy enough, yes, but you're still using a weapon that's dog-♥♥♥♥ in comparison.

Even if they aren't a direct upgrade, they're just there as bloat. Completely same stats, you'll rarely ever tell a difference between most ARs. Shotguns and snipers at least have a tendency to seperate themselves into "roles" making them be better at different things (then again ARs are just bad unless it's a crit build FAMAS, shotguns are OP and snipers are just bleh in a horde shooter).

For some reason Overkill thought making the akimbo Grimms a good idea, that it would be completely balanced. Anyone that tells you these things are not OP doesn't have a clue about stats and just how much of a shredder these things become with a crit build.

Team play doesn't exist in this game, it's just shooting until stuff dies and not dying in the process.

Inspire Aced is an absolute crutch as it gives players a Get-Out-Of-Jail card. Without it, you wouldn't be able to save your dumb teammates and if you attempted to revive them you'd get downed too. The game is supposed to be punishing in this sense, what's the point in trying to smartly position yourself around the map if you can just give 0 ♥♥♥♥♥ about anything.

The game is horribly optimized, doesn't look the best but has it's moments where it looks gorgeous. Still, I can't believe how terrible this game runs. Just an absolute joke of a game engine.

The vast majority heists are movie-like and great, highly replayable too. Despite there being plenty where waiting is the main objective (and a boringly painful one), the heists alone are easily one of the pros of this game - if not the only for some.

Special enemies became more or less a joke, only time you get downed from cloakers is because they decided to willy nilly glitch through the wall (no joke, this really is a terrible game engine and desync is still an issue). Bulldozers get shredded by akimbos so I guess they really aren't nearly as menacing as they were, huh?

I've met some wonderful people in this game that made heisting a lot more enjoyable, sadly that's like 1% of the people I've met, for the other 99% it felt like I was getting "Pablo.Sanchez2008" players that just got access to the PC. I'm not a salty person nor' have I ever been beaten up by the cyber police. Regardless of that, yes, the community is mostly brain-dead.

This game appeals to people that just want a dumb shooter PvE Co-op game to play for a while here and there. If you're looking for something MORE and want to dump your precious time on it, look away, for this game offers none of that. This game is nothing more but an illusion of choice, once you do so many builds you start to realize just how little your options actually are.

A lot of DLCs in this game and most of them are just bloat, you'll probably only be using a handful of DLCs in a sea of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ packs, so ask around and get a few. Unless you're disgusted there's always that alternative free way if you know what I mean ;).

Do yourself a favor and get yourself something else with actually SOME balance to it. Maybe Killing Floor (ded game lawl), Killing Floor 2, Deep Rock Galactic or really anything remotely close to PvE and/or Co-op.

If you think this is a Minecraft clone, shame on you.

I'd recommend this game if you either love sandbox or metroidvania (or both).

If you don't feel like making houses, that's okay too, because there are plenty of items, bosses, enemies, armour and weapons of all sorts. Classes are very interesting and have their own progression in this game, with plenty of armour to choose from and accessories.

Beating the final boss of this game (prior to the update) felt like such a good achievement that I only could've felt in any other game with a vast and long game-time such as Hollow Knight.

A very disappointed person scoffs at a game

Older review got lost because I changed my answer to "No". So all that I wrote about got lost because Steam sucks. So instead of that one I'll write a smaller quicker version.

This has been said many times so I'll say it again: the game sucks.

Let me tell you why it sucks in just a few sentences. Another thing to keep in mind is that this isn't another circle-jerk or one of those "omg tencent commie bad wtff deee??" reviews. Unlike those I actually have some serious issues with the game.

We need more End-game content

We only got like sorties, arbitrations and Steel Path. Once you hit a certain point in the game, you start one-shotting everything. Another issue is that since you're practically a demi-god, there's no challenge to seek out on in this game. By having more end-game content (that disables gear mind you). We are able to give frames a way to shine the brightest, because what's the point for support/CC abilities when you are able to one-shot everything anyways?

Damage/Nuke frames triumph CC/Support frames, and it sucks.

Support frames gives you damage reduction which you won't need since you're able to one-shot everything on the map. If everything is dead then what's the point of damage reduction?

Support frames give you energy, but what's the point of that when you're able to one-shot everything on the map. If everything is dead, then they surely dropped energy orbs. And if not, you got energy deployables which makes support frame even less needed.

Sure some can give you damage benefits. But once again since you're able to overkill enemies anyways, what's the point in dealing more? Even on Steel Path you're able to breeze through it with a Condition Overload/Chromatic Excalibur, and that's just one of the handful of frames that's able to just breeze through this content.

Certain frames are able to shut-down a map completely

CC abilities like Vauban's 4 can be spammed non-stop 24/7 without any punishment. Enemies will fly into your ball of death and die. They don't move, they don't shoot, they don't provide any challenge. So imagine that, for 50 minutes straight you're just balling enemies to death, not moving, not shooting, not anything.

Ask yourself if these ridiculously good abilities should be spammed like this. Should they? If we were to have a cooldown, then you wouldn't be able to spam them. Instead you'd have to smart with your abilities and placement and use them when in a pinch. But maybe cooldown abilities would be a pretty bad idea.

DE doesn't listen to the community, would rather forget about previous content than to work on it

They do this all the time and never learn. They are never willing to communicate with the community, and honestly it's good that they don't since the community mostly sucks, but that's irrelevant.

DE really needs to understand that they can't just keep making half-baked content and keep jumping on new projects. They need to understand that they need to expand upon their amazing base rather than releasing something "fresh" only for it to be left behind after 2 days (I'm looking at you PvP and Archwing).

Open World updates face the same issue. They release an Open World update, we play it and once we're done with it, we're done. There's no reason to revisit these older Open World updates unless you missed on some of the gear you can obtain in it. They never really build on top of these updates (as you should).

So what happens? It's quite simple. The content they made is just sitting there collecting dust. This is a sign that what they release doesn't merge well with the base game.

This is sadly the vicious cycle of Warframe updates. Just like PvP, they will never to go back and fix a half-baked update (or for that matter remove it).

Literally the last 3 major updates were Open World, promises that were made improving the base game are still not fulfilled

Open-world looks great and I honestly don't have an issue with it.

But they're just focusing on it way too much. What about all those promising things they've said? So many parts of the game could use a bit of polish, dark sectors could use a rework. Enemy scaling has still not been changed and it desperately needs one.

Frames, armor-stripping and other issues

Warframe has more issues than just enemy scaling unfortunately. So many frames don't fall within that "End-game" viable stamp of approval. And it's mostly because they just aren't able to dish out enough damage or provide the amount of required bonuses to remain relevant against LVL 100+ . I love playing as Ash but my Lord his 4/3 ability combo still bugs your camera, so you have to press 5 every time that happens to revert it.

Steel Path doesn't make the game more challenging, it just serves as proof of how good certain frames are in comparison to others. Frames like Excal, Ash, Mesa are still able to melt through them like butter. There are frames that seriously need a buff.

Steel Path also made me realize how terrible armor is for enemies. When people see a new frame they usually don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about it unless it has "armor-stripping". Armor-stripping is unironically the key to doing end-game content like Steel Path and that sucks. So many abilities deal a bunch of damage but are unable to fight against them since they don't have a way to strip armor. So people rely on something like Kuva Nukor in order to do this content.

In conclusion

*Damage/Nuker frames are picked over Support frames. It's a rare sight to behold a fellow Trinity player.

*No team comp. Where in other games playing as the wrong role would get your team wiped, in Warframe it really doesn't matter. It would feel nice knowing you made a contribution to your team filling a certain role rather than just face-rolling on the keyboard as a Mesa.

*Promises still remain to be promises, sadly I doubt DE will actually live up to them.

*More End-game content is required.

*More polish is required, aspects of the game still need tweaking.

TL;DR Would give a "50/50" but I'll give it a negative instead. If you're a new player I still would recommend this game as it is very addicting and filled with a lot of ways to customize your experience. The game has a bucket-load of issues though.

EDIT: After 1k hours, I got banned in Warframe for saying "WTS Nigerian Slave 5 Platinum", let's say all those years of being a polite user making a few friends along the grind got completely demolished by one single edgy joke. I don't understand how DE can just casually perma-ban someone on their first offense. Even after years of not doing anything wrong whatsoever. Their zero policy against "hate speech" that changed after Tencent took over really shows here. Getting banned before took a lot more effort, like literally being a neo-nazi spreading hatred and spamming people 24/7, but I guess now with Tencent on the block, saying just one sentence is able to get you perma-banned.

Great moderation DE, the fact some people see this as a good moderation to this wholesome Keanu Chungus community really shows a lot about what kind of people play this game. It's disgusting, and the fact there were people that got banned for saying something even less is even more concerning.

In conclusion to getting banned, I learnt the hard way that you really shouldn't use chat in Warframe, especially if you're leaning on the edgy-side of the comedy spectrum. Just don't, either become a brainless SJW drone while playing it or ignore it all together. YOU will get banned on your first offence, no warning, no chat bans, no 14 day bans, just straight up perma ban (technically 2035, but ♥♥♥♥♥, that's just a placeholder date, plus you'd be implying this game will exist for that long).
