This game isn't finished. It feels like they've taken a lot of elements from a lot of different games, mashed them together, but forgot to make it too enjoyable. The shooting mechanics feel okay, the combat is fairly well done and the abilities work well together and you can pull of some pretty devastating combos. The one big downside is, none of this is new.

The in-match leveling is a nice touch, I feel like more games should include it as it promotes moving around and actually playing instead of camping. The different "heros" with abilities is great because it allows for variety in your playstyle and lets you discover cool combos with your mates. But these two features that are probably some of the stand out features for the game, have been around for years and done better. The game does nothing that hasn't been done before, and when you're backed by Amazon you'd imagine they'd have some room for creativity.

Don't play this game. Not for a while. If you want something with well paced action, if you want an FPS game with unique abilities, if you want a battle-royale styled game with PvE, there are definitely much better made games. Relentless Studios are clearly capable of creating a decent game, but there isn't really any creativity here, and the game was released a little prematurely. You can't help but expect more when you see Amazon as the publisher.

The game is extremely complex, but also super rewarding when you make everything work right.

Shat on woman's baby. Shat on kid's ice cream. Shat on taxi driver.

10/10 would spend $0.89 again.

Early Access Review
EARLY ACCESS REVIEW V.127

I have only played the game for a short amount of time, but it has the potential for a great survival game. The game has all the features that are needed for a proper survival game. It is still in early access, but I recommend buying it now. The gameplay is still fairly entertaining, although it will start to feel repetitive after a while.

The first map is good, but feels very empty. A lot of time is spent with nothing but the same snowy scenery and massive hills. Hopefully the map size will increase as the game comes out of Early Access. Also the amount of NPCs in the map i very low. I managed to go most of the time without seeing more than one wolf. Again, this is because the maps seem relatively small.

The survival system is incredible. The hunger and thirst systems work well, and the calorie count makes you need to always have some form of food around. The fatigue system could be improved, but is still good. The temperature system is what stands out the most. Not only the changing air temperature depending on the time of day, but also the wind chill can cause you to freeze if you stay out in the open for too long.

Therefore, I give this game a 6/10 - with the hopes of much more content to come in later updates.

Possibly the best racing game out there. The thing that makes this game so much better than the rest is the freedom you get. The world is massive, containing two islands; Ibiza and Hawaii, both with full asphalt and dirt roads, so if driving on paved roads gets a little boring, you can change it up a bit and go offroading. There are quite a few cars in the game, which means that there is a fair amount of variety when choosing your car(s).

There are a few problems with the game. There is no option for a clutch without a racing wheel, so you can only go automatic or sequential. I highly recommend getting a gamepad because some of the cars will slide about with the arrow keys. Also when compared to Test Drive Unlimited (prequel), the police in this are suicidal. In TDU they simply try to surround you and bring you to the side of the road, whereas in this the objective is to ram you until you are stuck between a tree and 3 cops, and have to give up.

Otherwise the game is brilliant. Definitely recommend buying it if you are into racing games.

State of Decay is a brilliant game. It is a good example of a zombie survival game. The fact that you have to search for resources like food, medicine and ammunition makes it a lot more realistic.

The vanilla game is pretty good. It has a simple storyline of escape, but adds different elements like other surviving factions. There are lots of resources and vehicles, and even more zombies, meaning that even by not completing missions the game is still fun.

I would recommend buying the Breakdown DLC. It adds in a sandbox mode, which makes the game a lot more fun because you have a lot more control of how you play. You choose where you start, which survivors you allow into your group, and which survivors you leave for dead. And just to make things a little better, you can decide to at any time move to the next level, which basically resets the map, makes it harder, with more zombies and less resources, and you can take 5 survivors with you. This means that the game is more or less endless.

Buy this game if you enjoy survival games and zombie shooters. The only improvement I would like is multiplayer.

STATE OF DECAY LIFELINE REVIEW:

Not as fun as the original game or Breakdown. You start of with a few skilled survivors, a large base, and a ♥♥♥♥-load of guns and ammo. You don't search buildings for resources, but get it dropped in by a helicopter. All the missions are to rescue different people and take them back to your base.

This DLC is very repetitive. I would have liked to say it is good, but it is fairly average. Buy Lifeline if you are buying the game and Breakdown just to complete the set, but you won't play it as much as the other game-modes.

One of the best RPG games I have ever played. The only downside is that if you have played Skyrim, then don't get this game. Skyrim's mechanics and overall graphics and gameplay easily outstrip it by far. Oblivion does have the best storyline out of the Elder Scrolls series, and when it came out it would have easily been worth $80.

The Combat system is biased towards the traditional sword and shield or bow styled fighting. It is harder to use magic because staves are 2-handed and aren't as easy to use as spells. Stealth is harder to stick with because it is a lot harder to get more than one sneak attack on an enemy before he slaughters you because you are wearing your light armor.

If they remade Oblivion with the Skyrim-leveled graphics and gameplay, but the storyline and characters from Oblivion, it would be easily a 10/10. Unfortunately, because of how much ahead of it Skyrim is, I can only rate it a 8.5/10.

If you want a good melee-RPG with good gameplay and a well-written storyline, buy Skyrim.
