why is this clunky low budget game so difficult to figure out?

CONS:
Car mechanics and driving suck.
Cant remember all the different car controls
Lost my whole save file as there is no auto save. HOW DO I SAVE?
Zero tutorial for using tools and understanding mechanics.

With how the game is now I can't leave a positive review. Getting knocked off cliffs and needing a ramp is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. The ability to jump or self climb to get to resources needs to be implemented ASAP. Just playing Co-op with one other person, I've noticed theres so much to accomplish with such little time. Managed to get as far as day 8 then lose because gates got destroyed super quickly. It's just obnoxiously grindy to get better and better after each loss. I think adding the ability to jump would make me upvote this game as sad as that is.

PART 2....

SILVER?! WHERE ARE YOU? I swear to god every resource in this game is easier to find. I can roam through half the map and find maybe TWO silver deposits. This issue is HUGE and most of the time you need a RAMP to get up to get a silver deposit. WHY do i need a RAMP to get up the cliff that I should be able to CLIMB?!? FFS. I'm really trying to enjoy this game but between me and my cousin, we cannot progress past day 8, especially Co-op. The lack of silver makes the progression near impossible. Meanwhile, Iron deposits are everywhere, even in the higher lvl areas. Absolutely ridiculous.

quite overwhelming for someone who has never played.. with that said its something new and theres a lot to learn. Probably gonna dump a lot more hours into it.

The only issue i have right now is the constant mobs when I'm trying to farm logs or build things. I know it's survival, but I'm outgearing everything, (right now atleast), in just 12 hours and it's a bit tedious.

Pros: very difficult
survival
rewarding
worth the money

Cons: grind(pro for me)
losing your stuff across the ocean
enemies are ruthless at night making you have to sleep so you can gather supplies

Personally dont understand the bad reviews of this game. I've spent nearly 7 hours in one sitting having a blast!

After over 50 hours in the game I can tell anyone that loves getting gear, slaughtering enemies, and having endless potential of class customization, that this game is for you! The devs are very responsive to community issues and are always working to make the game better. I haven't had more fun on a game in years and I highly recommend giving this a try! End game allows a ton of time to spend on grinding for better gear with your friends!

starts off slow, very slow. Dont rush into this game thinking it's any other RPG cuz its not. You will die. Learn the mechanics, learn the movements, upgrade your abilities fast!

My review was previously negative, and I'm still uncertain. I am certain however that the developer is very willing to listen and make changes to the game when needed based on reviews and criticism by customers. I'm a good deal into the game by now and can give a few ideas for improvement based on what I've seen and experienced so far.

1) Include more jumpscares! There's very few jumpscares, and a whole lot of walking.

2) Remove the mechanic that turns the screen red.. I get the idea but it's very distracting and takes away from the creepy atmosphere. My suggestion would be to make the lantern flicker.

3) I ran into a bug at the beginning when you walk down the long hallway, but I cut it out of the video. I almost got stuck in the wall when it shortened the wall.

4) Reduce dead ends. This increases the amount of walking and serves no purpose. The forest area is a great representation of this.

5) If you don't reduce the amount of dead ends, add jumpscares to those areas.

6) More survival! More chasing, running from the enemy. (Add in new enemies/obstacles)

I'm sure I'll have more suggestions the further I get but the improvements you've made and you contacting me shows that you are very responsive and genuinely care about your game. On top of it, you sent me a free code after me refunding the game and told me to give it another go. I rarely see developers do this and if possible, when I can, I will be giving you the $15 to show my appreciation and gratitude. As a single developer, you're doing a fantastic job. I was far too critical and I didn't expect the response from you. Keep up the great work and I look forward to future updates, and more games from you!

very difficult game but definitely has the scare factor.

Awesome so far! This game used to be hard to record so I never played it on my channel. For any content creators out there, this game is easy to record now with no problems! Also, there's apparently an extra hour of gameplay so that's very awesome as well. I'm only 15 or so minutes into it and I love it. I recommend!
