We are a people whom God has honored with Islam, but if we seek glory in something else, God will humiliate us.

Men are four: A man who knows, and he knows that he knows, so that is a scholar, so follow him. A man who knows but does not know that he knows, so that is a heedless one, so remind him. A man who does not know but knows that he does not know, so that is one seeking guidance, so teach him. And a man who does not know and does not know that he does not know, so that is an ignorant one, so avoid him.

Amidst the canvas of life, I find myself daubing strokes of struggle and shades of uncertainty. I wonder if others possess a hidden palette, a secret artistry to ease, while I grapple with the unfinished masterpiece of my own existence.

A man, and I have never surrendered to a knight before
Why am I surrendering before her eyes!?
I will return victorious in all my battles
In front of her innocent eyes, I will be defeated!?
I am a poet who is not helped by his letters
Love is greater than the language of feelings
I have a thousand eloquent verses that I have found
But I stutter in her love...

For she breaks her promises and oaths.
Even if she claims to love me, I will leave her,
Caring not for whatever pain I may endure.
I lasted only a day and a night,
Before seeking the atonement for my vow."

And even if my eyes see a beautiful face,
