Ignore the negative reviews, this is a true remaster of AOE 1. No gates, weird balance and crappy pathfinding. Not AOE2, tons of people cant seem to get their heads around that. If you want to play AOE2:DE wait for it! This is perfectly fine with a couple of QOL fixes without changing the feel of the game and even has a nostalgia mode which sets the old graphics and music and removes all the QOL fixes if you have to play it just like the original. ngl the old music brings back the memories. You can replace the music if you want with some quick copy pasting. Solid 8/10.
