I didn't get very far, but the game's given me a lot of very bad impressions right off the bat. From all the praise the game gets I was expecting something that would blow me away from the start. I may try and give it another shot another time, because I do want to see the greatness that is clearly hidden in this game.

- The controls are terrible and it feels awful to move around in this game. It does say that a gamepad is recommended, so I may give that a try next time, but I don't generally like playing first-person games with a gamepad.
- Incredibly disorienting
- Gives me mild motion sickness, which I haven't had from a non-VR game before
- So far the dialogue sucks- none of the characters seem to have any distinct personality, including the protagonist
- There's no good story 'hook' right off the bat - I suppose you have to be very driven to just wait it out and hope it gets intriguing later on
- Very, very slow pace. Moving around and exploring is a chore
- Died for unknown reason and got sent back quite far, I don't mind being sent back if I know why I died
- The game is apparently ~15 hours long, I don't know if I can stand these controls for that long

This is essentially Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans: The Game

Fantastic game, really enjoyed it. Weird and original.

In-game text chat was unfiltered and full of racists, didn't seem to be a way of reporting them - didn't enjoy my time with it mainly due to that

Fantastic game and a great continuation of The New Order. Very compelling all the way through, I couldn't wait to see what happened next. The characters and the writing are the highlights. Everything is exaggerated and larger than life to fit the tone - villains are cartoonishly evil, settings are over the top - but it manages to also be very touching and human.

I completed the game on one difficulty setting higher than Normal which was generally not very difficult but there were a few difficulty spikes that meant I really had to concentrate and analyse the situation to figure out the best approach. I had a bit of frustration at how difficult one particular fight was. It turned out that that was the final combat encounter of the story so it made sense that it was difficult, but the game didn't give any build up or indication of "This is it" that I noticed so I wasn't expecting it.

I highly recommend playing The New Order first because the story is a direct continuation of that game. It's also a fantastic game and worth playing. If you've played that, then expect more of that game. You don't need to play any Wolfensteins prior to The New Order to enjoy this one.

There's a fair bit of replayability due to the differences in cutscenes due to a choice you make (it's actually a choice you make in The New Order that you can re-choose at the start of this game). I'll come back to it eventually and try the Fergus timeline, but I'll likely re-play it all the way from The New Order.

It is structured like a very traditional linear first person shooter, but it allows a bit of flexibility when it comes to playstyle. I tend to approach each encounter at first like a stealth game, trying to take out certain targets without being spotted, as this prevents reinforcements from being called. If this fails, I dual wield some big guns and fight my way out. I like the way that failing to be stealthy doesn't end up in an unwinnable situation - it just changes the dynamic of the gameplay.

If you liked Half Life 1 and 2, this series reminds me of those in a lot of ways. I think it's carrying the torch in a way.

I highly recommend this game.

This game is fantastic. There's a lot of strategy in tree placement and planning for Winter. And just when you thought you'd seen it all, the game opens right up and gets really interesting. Grow your trees tall and your caves deep and you'll see something quite astounding. Go through the door!

This is fantastic so far. There are so many puzzle mechanics from such a simple system. This game is going to keep me stumped for a very long time.

I haven't finished the game yet, but so far it's well exceeding my expectations. The story is interesting, fast paced and low on exposition which I'm enjoying. The team banter is great. Shooting robots is a lot of fun as well.

Excellent for fans of the series. Fun game and hilarious from start to finish. I didn't come across a single bug while playing the game.

Love it. Jokes are kinda hit and miss, but with so many of them flying at you constantly, it is far more of a hit than a miss. Never a dull moment.
