Diehard Cyan fan here!

I played through all of their games (and even chose a carreer in 3D because of them) and I must admit that i am quite disappointed in this new release.

Barren and gigantic environments feel empty and lifeless. Walking through them sadly feel like a chore. I also broke 3 saved games using some of the interactable machines; making me loose about 2h total of gameplay. So yeah... this game is very short (~5h) and very buggy too.

At this point you might be asking yourself "Then why the positive review?"

Here's why:
-The scale of this game is gigantic compared to the size of their team that has shrunk considerably.
-They also dared to try something new with an interesting multi-tool game mechanic that works very well. It opens the possibility to tons of fun to solve and just hard enough puzzles.
-The story is also quite original, and progression flows fantastically well.

So In the end, my disappointment boils down to: I only wish there was more to find.
More lore, more secrets, more details, more variety and more environment based storytelling.

I can only hope that Cyan will bounce on this misstep and solve this new puzzle of their own.
Why not keep expanding the Myst universe?

Dredge is a delicious bite-sized game with a simple, yet catchy gameplay loop of catching new species of fishes, selling them to upgrade your boat, then reaching to even stranger seas for stranger fishes. The fact that it's sprinkled with an eerily feeling of lovecraftian cosmic horror is what makes it so special.

You shall not regret granting the lurking lords of the abyss a feast of your precious time with this game, i promise.

Sea of Thieves is special because it's the first game that I have played where I had a truly entertaining story to tell my folks after each session.

I could deep dive in all the details that make this game perfect, but I won’t spoil it for you.
What I CAN tell you is that whatever you try to do in this gem of a game, crazy stuff will happen to you:
Sometimes funny
Sometimes challenging
Sometimes frightening
But also heartwarming

Yes, it’s a sandbox game, and it will mostly be about what you make out of it; but if you pour in enough hours to go through all the quests and stories it has to offer, you will discover something magical in the end; and that something is that SoT is not exactly about plundering.

It's about building friendships, defying the odds, playing bold and experimenting.

It taught me to charge towards the unknown, to try new things, to take my time, to stay composed through fire and flames, to interact with strangers, to lose (and win) gracefully and heck… even to enjoy defeats.

With all this, for the first time of my life, I play a game because it feels good in a meaningful way; it keeps on giving.

A year has now passed since I shared my first incredible tale with my family and recently, my 7yo son finally asked to join me! We now sail and live new adventures together every Saturday morning. I cherish these moments with all my heart as we bond together more than ever.

In Sea of Thieves all are equal, and in these crazy days we live in as an increasingly divided society, the community feels like a safe haven to me. This game is a ray of sunshine to me and will probably be for many years to come.

The stunning retro game looks and the roguelite aspect drew me into this game.

Unfortunately the game mechanics are very unimaginative. Give it 2 hours and you'll have seen everything there is to see; making all the rest terribly repetitive.

Unless you grab it at a discounted price and expect to spend an evening or two maximum on it, I would not recommend this game.

I am disappointed, I would've hoped for more content.

Congratulations new player! Here are 5 card packs that won't make any difference because you basicly had nothing interesting to combine them with anyways. Oh there comes your opponent! Someone 20 times your level because; well, there are no starting players for you to play with.
Enjoy getting wrecked until you pay more :)

This game is incredibly fun! Fast-paced and twitchy, there is ZERO down time; even in the Battle Royale mode.
The greatest thing about is that LOTS of f*** up moments can happen in a round.. but even if it's crazy bad, it's still fun because you still get to play and have a chance to make an incredible comeback even tough you turned into a zombie.
Super simple, yet super deep game; 10/10.

Un deuil similaire à celui d'avoir terminé un roman nous ayant plongé dans un univers qu'on aurait voulu explorer d'avantage.
Parfois réaliste, parfois fantastique, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter vous transporte avec fluidité dans un univers mystérieux rempli de secrets à découvrir. L'évolution de l'histoire saura vous surprendre du début à la fin.
C'est pourquoi, si je devais résumer mon expérience en un mot, je dirais simplement: Magique
