A great game to play solo or with friends, though you may have a much better experience with friends. The game itself plays well with a creepier atmosphere that keeps you on your toes with constant sights and noises to ensure that each situation you find yourself in is an intense one. The game has you hunting monsters in order to collect their bounties, however enemy players are also looking to do the same so it's up to you to fend off the enemies plaguing the land as well as your fellow man. Each death for your character is permanent, meaning you NEED to leave the area alive if you enjoy your character and equipment.(Though you can just buy it all again if necessary) Overall a fun game with some slight glitches and problems here and there such as certain objects looking pink, but nothing too severe. A good buy

Played through the game twice on console but PC is by far the most optimal way to play this game. Overall a fun game with heavy grinding and decent difficulty, you can genuinely feel how you've improved with each fight. The moment of satisfaction from finally beating that monster that's been giving you trouble lasts just long enough for you to be beaten to a pulp by the next monster you face so you can repeat the cycle. Make sure to set aside a decent amount of time when you play as each monster can take upwards of 20 to 30 minutes (or significantly less depending on your skill). Relatively simple concept of grinding monsters again and again so you can finally complete that perfect set of armor or weapon that fits with your setup, or don't do that and make armor exclusively for your cat but the battles never seem to get stale at least from my opinion. Many weapons to choose from allowing a multitude of different play styles. Prepare to get addicted.

Quite short but overall an enjoyable experience. The game can be fully enjoyed without a vr headset although it takes most of the point of the game away. The price is a bit steep seeing as this is more of an experience than an actual game but if you're a fan of the show or just the character Holo in general you likely won't regret your purchase.
