A nice fresh take on the RTS genre. Short matches with simple gameplay.

Edit: Usonia units break the game. I no longer recommend this game in it's current form. The units are too large meaning you can't easier select anything under them. The units can pass terrain like no other nation's units can. The Samson Drone Carrier is straight up overpowered.

Great little program for optimising VR games! I use it for DCS, primarily.

Starting with the bad: The developers have done the bare minimum to port this to VR. Some mods can fill the gaps, but these cause more problems than they solve, imo. The devs also abandoned this game! No more updates.

You will have menus opening in walls making them useless.
You won't have a body or be able to see how cool you look.
Your weapon contact seems only indirectly related to what happens to your foe.
Your resource/stats bars float around randomly like you have vision problems.
Objects will bounce around the room like a ghost is haunting you.

The good: This is Skyrim VR. You don't just left click to swing your sword, you swing your sword! Once you get used to smooth locomotion, the immersion is indescribable. If you have to use teleport locomotion, it isn't the end of the world, but not the best.

The scale of the game was crazy, but in VR you feel it.
Magic has a whole new feel to it as you hold it in your hands.
Bows have become a skilled weapon, no longer point and shoot.
Graphics are good, not the best, but good.
Performance shouldn't be an issue for most gaming rigs.
The sound is immersive.

Highly Recommended.

The game is available from other online key stores. If you paid for Skyrim before, the additional work to make it VR isn't worth the full price. This is even more true with the devs abandoning the game.

This was an amazing game. A change in developers has ruined it. Not recommended.

The game is nice and polished. No two ways about it. Generally bug free.
The reason I can't recommend this game is that the multiplayer is just too hard to use. There is no real sharing of profits beyond a tiny tip that is almost pointless. You can only share one mission at a time with a friend.
The stations are very samey and pretty boring and always in isolation.
The game was £50 to support the developers in Beta and they still asked for more money for an expansion of content that should have been there from the start.

Hackers.

There is only one reason for not recommending this game: COOP LAGG!!!!!!!
Everyone except the host gets horrible lag no matter how good the host's PC/internet is.
I will happily change my review to "recommended" once this major issue is resolved.

A "work around" that seems to help quite a bit is:
Go to vpn.net and download the hamachi server client. Register an account and make your own server with password protect for you and your friends to play on. (I have used ZeroTeir One VPN too)
After you've made your server go to network and sharing center on windows 10, click hamachi>properties>IP4> properties and advanced at the bottom right, unselect automatic metric and set it to 1.
Lastly open up MCC with anticheat turned off and go to settings>network> swap it from xbox live to LAN and you should be able to see your friends on your LAN. From there just invite or join your friend.
(You might need to configure or disable your firewall)


The Good!
Great port to PC. Game plays smooth and feels great (for the host). 144Hz all day long.
Graphics are fine. Older game, but modern graphics. Turn on enhanced graphics in settings.
Audio is good. The voice acting is well done and a good selection of supported languages.
Controls are fully customisable and work well on the PC.
Good adventure/story.

I can't get past the very lazy porting from console to PC.
No redesign of UI. Just menus in menus, unintuitive bloated crap.

Online multiplayer isn't "easy" to get set up and I can't seem to do story missions with a friend. Best I can do is repeat the mission with friends afterwards.

No effort from devs and so I recommend not giving them your money.

One of the best games of all time.
I played it back in the DOS days and this Remastered release is close to perfect.
Highly recommended, not just for people that played the original, but for everyone of all ages!

This is a horrific console port.
Nothing is intuitive and the graphics are mediocre at best.
Even after the big update, the underlying game is fundamentally broken.
