Despite the visual design, this isn't your average anime game. It's a very solid Dark Souls - like with a goth anime visual design that's almost entirely for flavor. Great character creator too.

If you have any memory of Classics such as Cybernator or Assault Suits Leynos, buy this. If you don't, this is an extremely solid mech action game with minor rpg elements and gorgeous high-res 2d sprites.

The multiplayer mode is basically smash with mechs, but the player population isn't quite there yet and matches tend to lag.

Still, quite worthwhile for single player alone.

This completely slipped under my radar inititially, but I'm so glad I picked it up on whim. Charming, amazingly deep, and immensely rewarding. I couldn't ask for more from a roguelike.
