I'd happily pay 20 bucks for this, why is it free???

An indie title that maintained a 25 dollar price before leaving early access, then to 30 after leaving early access, and now to 35 despite no major free content in recent memory is ridiculous, and the dev has the gall to announce DLC content which, by his own admission on his site, is content already represented in a popular free modpack. And we haven't even begun to discuss the silly pricing choices ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over non-American customers. Kovarex has decided that he will simply price gouge instead of actually innovating anything new to earn the increased price point.

That isn't even getting into the silliness he got himself into a few years back when he headlined a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person for an interview, and chose to be actively hostile to community feedback and doubled down while crying about cancel culture. Kovarex is the kinda person who thinks he's too good to make mistakes, and so he refuses to ever accept that he may have made one and instead plugs his ears as hard as possible when met with any serious criticism.

Dev opinions aside, the gameplay loop found here has since been done better and on a larger, more exciting scale by Dyson Sphere Program, and for 15 dollars less. If you want a grand automation game, I'd recommend that instead.

Surprisingly not yet catering to nubs. Changes from earlier titles are all quality of life changes or improvements to the engine. Humanity is now Ember or whatever, but its just a thematic change, no change in mechanics.
