TL:DR The game is actually terrible...


Long Version:


If you want to be a killer main, prepare for absolute torture. The game is ridiculously survivor sided, from perks to map design, to the basic mechanics of the game (gen speed, items etc). This results in unfun situations at anything except the lowest rungs of match making.

You will encounter toxic survivor squads who's only form of amusement is to make sure you have a miserable experience playing the game. If you don't play the game how they want you to, or you actually try to win prepare for one of the most toxic environments you will encounter. With plenty of them insulting you and telling you to kill yourself (check my profile comments if you dont believe me).

Unless you bring a specific 4 perks, which dont really change killer to killer, then you have almost no chance against decent survivors.

All in all playing killer is a horrible experience, and more and more killers are leaving the game due to these reasons.

Playing survivor is boring, the meta perks are so powerful, that bringing any other perks are pointless. Despite the fact they may actually be fun. All you do is hold left click to repair gens, or hold Shift + W to easily escape 90% of the killers in the game. There is no challenge or enjoyment in this. There is also no effort required to win most of your games, and at no point do you feel in danger from the killer.

Prepare for super long queue times as survivor due to lots of killer mains leaving the game due to the aforementioned problems, and when you eventually get into a game, killers are forced to tunnel and camp in order to have a chance at winning because of the way the game works. This is unfun to play against as a survivor.

The game is in a pretty poor state right now, and not terribly fun for either side. With a super toxic community (who usually end up being survivors). The game is due a large update soon, so if this improves the situation i will update my review accordingly.

New killer is underwhelming and very weak in current meta. New map is survivor sided, with multiple loops that you simply cant do anything at as killer. Allowing the survivor to almost loop you indefinitely with little to no skill.

Got it through EA play during the promotion so luckily didn't waste much money on this. Multiplayer is fun if you're lucky enough to not get into a lobby with a cheater. EA does nothing about these cheaters. Most of them are max level and sit in the centre of the map, floating and invisible headshotting everyone

Why cant my players pass the ball 2 yards?

If you get past the myriad of technical issues with the launcher there is an enjoyable experience waiting for you.
