The game is pretty fun. It's not exactly like the first Synthetik as it has it's own slightly different pace, but maybe that's for the better.

At the current stage, I'd recommend you do not buy. The game is playable at it's current stage and quite enjoyable at that, but plenty of bugs and other issues plague it's current state. Such issues are: clunky AI pathfinding, softlocks, enemies/items falling out of map and currently not working remote play being the issue that bothers me the most.
Patches and bugfixes are still coming out at a fairly good rate. Once the major issues are solved, it'll be fine.

Above information is not up to date. Many bugs have been fixed and the game is very much playable. Give the game a try, especially a second story run on Madness difficulty!

CO-OP is available only for local/remote play and only for the campaign as of the time this has been written.
