“Toe beans” is a term that everyone thinks was invented by the internet but it’s actually been around for centuries.

On farms, barn cats are just a fact of life. A lot of times they used to walk through or sleep in the seed barrels before everything was store packaged. A cat would often get seeds stuck between her toes and would lick them to try to remove them. Between the moist saliva and the cats affinity for sunlight the seeds would usually end up sprouting.

The cats would have “toe bean plants” growing from their feet until a farmer removed them. Some unfortunate cats would get tree seeds stuck in their feet, and a farmer wouldn’t notice in time to help.

These tree seeds would slowly grow from the cats feet, but the slow pace of growth allowed the cats muscle and bone structure to grow as well. Multiple cats suffered from toe trees, and they gather still to this day as giant hundreds feet high walking forests with a cat at the base of each tree. They hold support groups and also they star in movies like lord of the rings to save on the cgi budget.
