Story and environment are really good, gameplay kinda sucks though. Pick it up on sale if you're going to play it.

An instant all time great

This game absolutely slaps. Intense platforming, amazing music, and a strong story.

This game is even better than the original. Story wise it makes more sense, and game play wise it's a slam dunk.

A truly excellent game. The story, gameplay, and atmosphere are all phenomenal.

The story is fantastic. It links nicely the events of RE7 and you'll even find out a little bit more about the RE universe in general while playing. My jaw dropped when learning more about the RE lore through this game.

Gameplay is almost identical to RE7 - first person, blocking. However, this game takes elements from RE4 like a merchant, the ability to buy and sell items and weapon upgrades, treasures, and my personal favorite: that key items no longer take up inventory slots.

The different areas you need to traverse in this game are unique and each one has its own charm. From an aesthetic point of view, there are some really beautiful scenes and areas in RE Village.

The gunplay is fun. Weapon variety is present, but the end-game weapons are the clear winners here.

NG+ is an option after completing the game, so you can go and try to max certain weapons and go for infinite ammo to take on the dreaded Village of Shadows difficulty.

The one annoying thing I find about this game are that the enemies can be really jittery sometimes and jump around especially on harder difficulties, but I guess that's a "get good" moment.

Overall, I highly recommend this game. Probably GOTY 2021. Get in now especially while it's on sale.

It's a pretty alright game if you ask me.

This game has landed in a special part of my heart. Some consider it "2-D Minecraft," but this game has a lot more combat than Minecraft while still maintaining the ability to create your own custom buildings. Your main mission is to mine minerals to craft into items and fight strong enemies. The game also comes with a multiplayer option so you and your friends can kick ass together. You need to build many houses for your fellow NPCs, all of whom sell you important items. And when you get different types of blocks and stones, you can create your own creative buildings anyway you want. Easily in my top 10 favorites.
