i THINK i now know who Lila is, and now i'm scared

I play a lot of games. I have also played quite a lot of games throughout my life.

After finishing the game, i imagine it will take many years for it to leave my mind. This is quite possibly the best singleplayer game i have ever played.

The story feels classic, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. The companions and all the npc's you encounter all feel like fully fleshed out characters, with motivations, goals, hopes and dreams. The way you act and play through the game has consequences on what happens later. Many times during the game, i had to pause for a minute, to really think about what i'd do, only to let the dice decide. The dice rule this game, and if you roll with it, (pun intended) you will find an incredibly varied, rewarding and replayable game.

Best c-rpg i have ever played, if not the best game overall. Get it if you even have the slightest interrest.

This game is fantastic.
What do you wanna do? Story adventures, pvp with other players, roleplay being a pirate, drinking 3 mugs of grog and falling of the ship playing the hurdygurdy? It's all here.

If you want to zoom in on something, it's not a simple hotkey, you have to use a spyglass. Dig up a chest? pull out your shovel and dig my man. Find your way around in the spooky cave? Pull out your lantern, and light the way for your teammates while fighting the enemies. Every item used feels grounded in the game world, and adds to the feel of the game. This game doesn't make you "Feel like Batman" but it sure does a great job of making you feel like a pirate.

Graphics are also pretty damn pretty, and runs very well. And the music, i mean. Gorgeous.

Absolutely one of the slickest, well produced action games of the decade. Gameplay is fast and fluid, music bombastic and powerful, and so much content it would make your head spin.

Due to the consoles, the ui could be a bit tighter and snappier, however it is in no way a dealbreaker. Great game.

What Evolve tried to be , but failed to do. 1v4 Multiplayer game which quickly turns from horror, into multiplayer hide and seek/chase game instead. Although the optimization could be improved quite a bit, it is one of the more original and fun multiplayer games in recent memory. Highly recommended.

Edit: Put 230 more hours into the game since i wrote the review. Still feel the excact same way. There is nothing like it on the market, and even though janky at times, it still has a hell of a lot to offer. Absolute recommend.

Do you even remotely enjoy anime, or a great mystery novel/tv show? If yes to any of those 2, then YES, BUY THIS GAME.
The gameplay is very much akin to the Ace Attorney Series (Nintendo DS). The game is in 2 parts, "normal" school-life, where you get to know the cast, and your friends throughout the game, and the courtroom drama part, where you need to decide, and prove "who-dunn-it"

The characters are all interresting, music is nice, and the plottwists keep on coming, in streams that will not stop.
It had me completely glued to the screen throughout the whole length, which is probably at a healthy 18-20 hours at least, even if you are a fast reader.

9/10, only because i can't immedieatly play the second game in the series. It's that good.

If you are okay with the price of the game, and the fact that it probably takes 4 hours to get through, then i got nothing but a glowing recommendation for this game.

The 2 characters who interact (which is basically the meat of the game), is wonderful. And the themes, loneliness, isolation, and making hard choices, are still stuck in my mind , sitting here even hours after the credits rolled.

The writing is spot on, and pardon for using the old cliché. "It makes you think." If you enjoy a good story in a game, or the more apt comparison, a good novel, then get this game.

Handsdown one of the best games i have played in years. Finally a game that is truly different. Can't recommend this enough. (Also i find myself humming the tunes of this game every quiet moment i have)
