At first, I didn't like KOF XIII as much compared to 2002 UM or XIV due to the roster. It felt small, and some of my favorite characters like Angel weren't in it. Also, I didn't want to play one of my usual characters, Billy, simply because I hate his Fatal Fury 1 design.

Then I got motivated to try and find someone I liked playing as, when I found the man, the myth, the legend, Shen Woo. I messed around with him for a while, found Drive Cancelling amazingly enjoyable and fun to use, and started playing the game more, to the point where I love this game. I also saw Maximillian play this game, and from watching him play I got even more inspired to give the game another shot.

Now, it's probably my favorite KOF. The music, the spritework, the gameplay, it's all top notch. I'm considering playing Shen Woo, Saiki, and someone else I haven't decided on yet. The game is super fun, even if it's a little bit difficult on the execution side for the trial mode combos. Easily the best non-anime fighting game I have ever played in my opinion.

When I first started up Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late on my PS3 over two years ago, I didn't think much of the One In White. The one they called "Akatsuki". I was ignorant of his origins. I didn't know who he was. I mained Carmine, and because I sucked at the game I got wrecked by an Akatsuki player.

Two years later, I purchased UNIST on Steam. I hadn't touched UNIB in two years, and after reading more about it I wanted to get back into it. For some reason, the wrecking the Akatsuki player dealt to me stuck with me subconciously, and I found myself wanting to know more about the One With The Blitz Engine.

Akatsuki Shisei Ichigo. Akatsuki Blitzkampf. EN-Eins Perfektewelt. I got into these games over the summer, playing EN-Eins first at a convention and later downloading Blitzkampf. I mained Akatsuki, slowly evolving into an Akatsuki, Adler, and Perfecti main. I got as into the lore as I could, and because I can't read Japanese I only know the backstory.

Yet I didn't care. I loved these games, except for Shisei Ichigo because you can no longer download it. I loved how they looked, how they sounded, and how they played.

When I grow older, I will tell my grandchildren about the Imperial Japanese Army officer, the ♥♥♥♥ spearhead of Ahnenerbe, and Gesellschaft's perfect being. I will tell them how I took challengers at my local arcade in Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf. Acshe. Though they may not care of games of old, I will always have a place in my heart for the tank punching, In-Birth fighting, and human cannonball known as Akatsuki.

oh yeah also the game is pretty good i guess

If you just want to see Half-Life in the Source engine, then get this game. It doesn't add anything new, just a new engine.
If you want a complete reimangining of Half-Life, get Black Mesa.

Overall, get this game if you're looking for an excuse to replay Half-Life. It also adds assets to Garry's Mod, if you want that.

dis gem is gut

is gud. is very gud. In all seriousness, I love this game. I bought the PC version because the game was glitchy on my PS2. It's way better than the console versions, in my opinion. Any fan of Star Wars should get this game. Get Gameranger if you want online multiplayer.
