Gunner, Heat, PC! is not finished yet, but it shows amazing potential. As the game sits right now, the campaign is just a series of disconnected "Attack", "Defend", "Spoil Attack", "Recon in Force" and "Raid" missions. Both sides have a health bar, winning a battle gives you some health back and takes the same amount away from the enemy. I have not finished the campaign yet, but I think it's pretty cut and dry. I have faith in the developers that will change as the game progresses through early development and releases.

I am not a hardcore simulator fan, I don't even really like the simulator tank battles in War Thunder. This game seems to strike the perfect balance of realistic coolness (namely ranging and ballistics) while still being fairly intuitive and fun for the casual gamer like me. Within an hour or two, you should understand most of the controls and be able to fight pretty effectively.

The combat is exciting and pretty rewarding. Hitting an enemy tank just right causes the tank to burn up or for the entire turret to excitedly pop off. The graphics and animations are really well done, and getting a good hit on a tank comes with instant feedback that is just really cool to see. My favorite part of the game though, is the voices of the crew. As the battle develops, your crew's voices will grow increasingly loud and more anxious. You'll start with calm communications like "on target" and "identified" that will eventually turn into shouts of "HE'S GOT US LINED UP" AND "KILL THAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥!" as the fighting gets more intense. I would like to see this get improved with more variety, as it goes a long way to make the battles feel intense and like you actually faced a real danger.

So the game play right now is very fun, but there is a bit of repetitiveness at the moment. The game is in early access, and I am very excited to see what comes next for GHPC!

This is an amazing and completely novel game, I've never played anything quite like it. My first play through took approximately 9 hours, but there is quite a bit of replay-ability because your choices effect both huge and small details in the story line. The best way I can think to describe it is like George Orwell's 1984 + Papers Please + A television broadcast studio had a baby.

If the premise that you see on the store page interest you, buy the game. You won't be disappointed. Just avoid reading into the game too much before you play, as spoilers could ruin the story for you.

Ready or Not is still very much a work in progress, but it shows amazing potential and above average dedication from the developers. The maps that are in the game already are very well polished, some of the best interior spaces in any video game I have every played. A dirty and dangerous meth lab feels really dirty and dangerous. A pedophiles mansion has hidden and not-so-hidden details that make it feel really creepy and unsettling. As the game sits now, there is maybe 60 hours of really fun, immersive and repeatable gameplay. There are only a handful of missions available now, and they can feel "old" after you play them through a couple of times. You can come back to the mission after a couple of weeks of not playing, and you forget the details that take away from the realism. As the developers add more maps and "layers" (different missions in each map), and more randomization mechanics, the game will feel less like a game (I know the layout of the house, and where bad guys are likely to be hiding in each room) and more like a realistic simulation.

The one aspect of this game that I hate is after you kill all of the suspects, you are notified that all suspects are down. But then you have to search the sometimes huge and complex maps to find and secure EVERY civilian. This can be a real bore, and sometimes can take upwards of 20 minutes on maps like Hotel. If the game didn't tell you that all suspects were down, you would still be on alert and it would feel less "gamey", or there could be a mechanic where you can just end the mission without penalty when the scene is secure.

Another thing on my wish list for tactical games in general is a more dynamic medical system. I want to be able to select the medical gear I am carrying and use things like tourniquets, pressure dressings, chest seals, Narcan etc. to save myself, friends and maybe even downed civilians on some maps. No video game has ever done it, but I feel this sort of system would be well at home in Ready or Not.

Hearts of Iron 4 has a very strong learning curve. When you first get it, you will not like it for the first dozen hours or so. After that you will start to learn the mechanics and will love the game if you enjoy WWII history at all. After 400 hours, I am still learning new mechanics and enjoy every playthrough of this game.

I bought this game when I was in middle school. I'm now in my 2nd year of college. I've had really good times in DayZ over the years, but I am so disappointed with the developers at this point. You should not buy this game, you should not support the broken development team. After years of development, they released a sad and broken game. They removed features from the beta prior to the release instead of fixing their problems. After the game's "launch", instead of working to fix these issues and add content to a terrible game, the developers instead chose to create PAID DLC!

DayZ can be fun at times, but for the most part is really is a running simulator. Run for miles and gather gear for hours just to end up dying due to a stupid glitch or a horribly implemented mechanic.
I would not recommend this game to my friends, and would suggest not supporting the development team.

I bought Mad Max on a whim in 2016, played it for a few hours, and went on my way soon after. I came back to this game in ealier this year very casually, and realize that I missed over an awesome game. It is a very fun driving game, with a really fun fighting mechanic. There is a suprising amount of content in this game. Very fun for a singleplayer game

This game is probaly one of the greatest games ever. The game boasts tons of great features, such as easily over 40+ hours of gameplay (Add DLC and its easily over 60+ hours), The main storyline has 4 different branches, allowing for you to fight for whoever you wish. The game's storyline is also amazing, no matter which faction you chose to fight for. The most amazing feature to a 4+ year old game is that the modding community is still highly active.
