Developers mute any negative criticism in the discord. Mention the fact they have pushed the wrong branch to main breaking the game? Timed out. Mention the fact the lead developer uses the updates channel to generalize the community as ♥♥♥♥♥? Timed out. Mention the multiple patches that ruined gun alignment, cause the floor to shake uncontrollably, and numerous dupe glitches? Timed out. It’s clear this group of “AAA developers” don’t know about version control, bug testing, or community management. If the game is working it can be a fun experience, but when every patch comes with heaps of bugs and the servers go down for almost a full day due to developers not configuring their AWS config properly it ruins it. This on the job training for the team members leave the game as a sandbox to learn how to deploy a game rather than actually iterate on their product.
