Boring, a huge fetch quest. Maybe there's a cool story but I don't have the time, totally should not have played this game. Basically bought it for this VR mod I saw but the VR mod is just Big Picture mode basically - no real full 6DOF so .... playing it without that it's just another fetch quest simulator.

Early Access Review
Until they release Counter-Strike: VR i'll have to play this. It's pretty good but the physics for the bullets are kinda horrible - shotguns shoot across the map and for the same damage, I think they've dampened the effect but it's still ridiculously lousy.

i hate the style of this game to be honest - super flat graphics, really bland environments - the oculus hardware really holds this game back a ton but then even the battle pass like cowboy land, medieval land, etc - cheesy. TOOOOONNNNSSSS of kids online tho and they're of course not willing to play appropriately. It's a Battle Royale, but it's not PUBG or Warzone - it's more Fortnite. The building is cool and possible to maneuver around opponents and over opponents but the building element extends fire fights in my opinion.

So aside from those points - considering the small multiplayer Steam VR titles - I think this is a fun arcade shooter with solid teamplay mechanics and some fun movement features. There are some major drawbacks - unbalanced guns, huge hitboxes, really easy to control recoil which allows for far too impossible movements like flying while shooting a shotgun one handed.

If you use the exploits too though it's a fair game.

100/100 amazing game already, great attention to detail, amazing setting and atmosphere, even more amazing input and control with the friggin awesome index controllers. Looks amazing on my Vive Pro + Wireless.

I really wanted to like this game but I felt so let down over and over again. Considering the set pieces were in some of the most beautiful areas of the world - it's so disheartening to spend that whole time in sewers, underground bunkers, and other rather drab areas. There's a lot I like about the Wolfenstein series, especially BJ as a character, but a lot of that seemed missing here. I mean no one really matched BJ the whole game and it's a little upsetting that Nazis have all these rad weapons but I don't feel the full force of their impact.

Would I recommend the game? I don't think I would actually. I really like the Wolfenstein series and I really like the gameplay style but if you're on the fence I don't think there's anything here that is going to wow you, if you love the series then take a dive when the price dips - if you don't then grab the first two and start there.

There are some great scenes like the scene with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the grandstand with Engel and BJ are definitely some great memorable conversations. Yet this feels like a great expansion to TNO and TOB but feels really incomplete as a stand alone game. The game is long, it can be challenging, but the game is lacking depth and a conclusion. Sorry but it left me wanting way more and didn't at any point feel polished on the same levels as its predecessor.

Also something I noticed is why doesn't the weight of these chracters transfer in-game. There should be things in the environment that shake when some of the larger enemies are present - the sound is one thing but their visual presence is lacking if you don't have it turned up on a headset. By that I mean that a lot gets lost when you're looking at some concrete bunkers with crates and the volume on low-mid and there is no other sense of "traffic" in the vicinity it doesn't keep the tension up.

this game is awesome. not too scary i would say more creepy. 3 hours in but the combat and everything else feels good, natural. I imagine it must be hard to play with just the pad on a console. Buy this game, it's good like Resident Evil 1 good..,
