I am Pioka. Previously known as Ling-Ling^. I was born in Denmark in 1992.

I have been playing computer games since I was about 10. I started playing Runescape, and then moved on to Counter-Strike. When Counter-Strike surfing was invented, I meet a guy called Random^. I joined the clan he was part of called xXs. We surfed a lot together, and became admins on a CS 1.6 surf server called Rob's Surf Server. After Rob's Surf Server shut down, we joined a Counter-Strike Condition Zero clan called SkG, later renamed to TTop . We played there for a while, until the clan disbanded. He then introduced me to Natural-Selection, and we played that until the Source Engine was developed. We played Counter-Strike:Source a bit together, but not a lot. One day he introduced me to Garry's Mod. He introduced me to GmodCentral, and the genre of Roleplaying. I liked it a lot, and me and him became admins on one of the servers that was owned by GmodCentral, called UKRP. When GmodCentral collapsed, I moved back to Counter-Strike:Source, and joined a clan called Team 7. I left fairly shortly after. One day, Cobra, an old Admin from GmodCentral, introduced me to Darkland, which was another Gmod community. I stayed there for half a year, not because of the servers, but because of some awesome people I met there. When UberMensch, one of the head administrators of GmodCentral, announced that he was starting up his own community, I left Darkland and joined Flex Gaming (originally known as Vanilla Surf). Flex Gaming never managed to expand its community and fill its servers, and was later closed down. Flex Gaming returned later and was run by Leonarrias. I then became a WoW addict, but discovered later that it sucked. I started playing scrims with a few people on CSS. Then I became a LoL addict since October 2011.

April 2015 here. Still play LoL somewhat - reached Diamond on two accounts. Getting into CS:GO again.. slowly..

April 2016 here. JK I dont play CS:GO, but I am now a Rust addict made by the same people who made Garry's Mod. Playing with Thomas, Shiome, Joachim, Leopold. Only play LoL when server is down.

December 2017 here. I'm LoL addict again rofl. Why am I still updating this. Real life is getting pretty hype. Soon done with uni and 5 yrs and will start full-time job. Does this mean I am an adult? ♥♥♥♥...

July 2023. I am now 5 years into my professional software engineering consulting career. I own an apartment with my significant other. Adulthood is truly underway and gaming sessions till 4am are now a thing of the past. Reading this gaming biography makes me reminisce of all the good times I've had throughout my life playing video games. From Pokémon to Runescape to Counter Strike to Gmod to WoW to League. It's a huge part of my history and is permanent etched into who I am today. I have lost all contact with most of the people who played with during my teenage years. Lloyd (Random^) and Jack, whereever you are, I hope you're doing well. And guess what, I still play League of Legends. That's 14 years total playing this game... unbelievable.
