What a positive surprise! My initial impression of this game was "light-hearted road trip in pretty landscapes with silly characters", which was partly true, but the game turned out to be quite dark and disturbing (in a good way).

The best part for me was the intertwined stories of quirky characters. Voice acting was mostly good, but some female characters' voices were quite insufferable (I wish I could have muted the TV host). By far the most interesting encounters were with the derpy duo called Mitch & Stan and antisocial Jarod, because they were the most unpredictable.

The disappointing part is the low replay value. I started New game+ to explore different paths, only to learn that choices don't have any major effect on the story. The same events will happen regardless of what you pick. You get to tamper with details, that hardly have any effect on the story. So, ultimately the freedom of choice is an illusion. Some characters will say exactly the same things, even if you're rude or nice to them.

It's still nice to play through it more than once, in case you missed scenes on the first round. I discovered 2-3 new scenes on the second sitting, but already on the second round, I wish I could have skipped over the 'been there, done that' scenes entirely, as they offer nothing new after you've played through it once before.

What an unique, surreal experience! I enjoyed the pixelated gothic style a great deal, combined with feverish dreamesque stories, and a soundtrack of great quality. I played through it in one sitting, because I had to see what happens in the end. I would have paid for this experience. Looking forward to your pieces of art in the future!

Short, but sweet atmosphere! Not exactly horror, but it did have you a bit on your toes.

The game is amusing for the few first times playing, but it wears off soon. The community is not so much amusing. Join the Discord to experience the toxicity and privilege first-hand from circle jerking staff, exclusive to a narrow group of friends, unwilling to provide any aid when needed about the game. Don't expect updates too often, it's just a one person claiming it's a passion project, yet not seemingly focusing any real effort in the game progress (he uses the same items recycled from House Flipper). It's not worth the full price, but when it hits a couple to a few euros at max, it's worth checking out with low expectations. It's very buggy in it's current state, expect to lose voice recognition frequently when playing with friends.

I loved (almost) every part of it :> It's a really dark world with twisted themes, in cute style. I enjoy stories with many layers, such as Fran Bow, with surreal, dream-like worlds full of hallucinations, yet parallel to reality of mental health issues. I got stuck in some of the puzzles for quite a while, but it was rewarding whenever I managed to solve them on my own. Only on a rare occasion it got a bit tedious and had to rely on the strangers online for a solution, realizing I would have never thought of it myself. It's still worth it to try solve everything on your own. What a wonderful experience, I only wish I could play it again for the first time.

It's one of those games with incredible atmosphere :> There are plenty of jump scares, which startled me at first, but you get use to them. Somehow it didn't irritate me. On the contrary, I was looking forward to seeing the next room and whatever hostile elements waited for me in there to discover. Towards the end, it gets really trippy with colors and distortions. It's a conflicting experience with heavy, sad themes, yet never have I ever played a game and wished for my character to die.

I liked the isolation theme. Your only contact is through walkietalkie with a woman you never get to meet. The story was interesting with psychological elements, such as gaslighting. I disliked having to run back and forth the same locations over and over again. The map was beautiful, but layout a little frustrating, I ended up running in circles because a little rock or tiny branch was blocking the way. I got stuck inside objects a few times (rock, tree) unable to get free, which forced me to close the game and restart from the last save point. The voice acting was a big positive in this game. I think it's worth the time!

I absolutely loved this quirky universe with horror elements! Exploring (not so) abandoned village, encountering ghosts from the past and discovering their stories. It was surprisingly emotional, especially for the connection from fiction to reality, for instance the parallel story about the gas attack in subway hit the spot for me. Never have I ever cared about pixelated character as much ._.

It was alright for a short story about abuse, but a little disappointing considering the depth of the story. I felt no connection to characters. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the beginning, but eventually it fell flat. I'm not a fan of jump scares, but for once I wished a game had used a couple of jump scares, just to keep you on your toes and make you question whether or not there's an actual danger inside the hotel. I thought the ending was a bit over the top. The subtleties before affected me more emotionally. I enjoy 'explore the abandoned building' type of games a great deal, and this managed to scratch that itch.

Short and entertaining. My (not so) secret word is Power.
