Let me play the game how I want. This game has so many broken RNG mechanics that you can just get royally screwed. I've played plenty of these, but none as bad as this one.

The fact that I get kicked back to main menu for using cheat engine in a SP game is BS.

A pretty good and cheap TD game. I like the idea of using things like "orbital" strikes and what not. It can get pretty brutal too if you don't pay attention. The difficulty also ramps up after the first two level, but so do the the options in how to tackle a level. Unrelated to the gameplay, I do like how the levels geographically connect. It's not like you can pan between the levels, but you can see the previous level's "style" connecting to the current level you're playing. It's a nice little continuity detail that I appreciate.

For a game that's in early access, it's wonderfully polished and is a lot of fun, even in PVE mode. I imagine the online servers are even more fun (never tried it, not my style). The game looks and runs well. The music is great. I do wish there were even MORE cosmetics, but it's not really short of any in the first place. The bosses are tough and I've had a lot of fun with my friend playing this game.

This game has had it's problems over the years. Disconnecting issues had me raging at this game for a long time, to the point of not recommending it.

Now? I'd recommend it.
