It's the Halo you remember with more stuff.
If you've never played nay Halos before there are more fluid FPSs these days that I would try first.

10/12 - Overall
(Note: I'm not a reviewer nor am I overly critical. I like to play games with friends and judge games based on how fun they are for me in as much of a vacuum as I can.)
2/2 - Gameplay
1/2 - Story
1/2 - Menus and UI
2/2 - (For RPGs) Equipment & Loot
2/2 - Map/Enemy/Challenge Design
2/2 - (If Available) Multiplayer

Excellent Action RPG in terms of gameplay. The story is somewhat basic but does a good job of carrying you from one sequence to the next. Narrator has some good lines that got a few chuckles out of me. (^_^)
The UI is clean but sorting through items can be a pain once you start amassing alot. My only recommendation would be to add another filter where you can sort by name or only show certain types of things.
The Loot, Armor, and Destiny Card systems are great and creating builds for this game is quite deep and super fun. I do wish that some of the mechanics of the game were explained more explicitly however figuring out some of them on our own, when we felt like testing, was enjoyable.
If you go through the main story, both DLCs, and try to get challenges for all maps then you'll definitely have one of everything by then so no need to grind beyond the content if that's your pursuit.
There are also many secrets hidden throughout the maps in the game that were quite a treat to find on my own and a fun competition when playing with friends.
Multiplayer is very functional and we didn't have any issues with it at all. Honestly was surprised it was still offered considering how long it's been since the game was released.
Overall great buy and well worth the money, especially if the game is on sale.

Owned Terraria for at least 8 years.
Even if you don't count the multiple years of free updates this game just keeps on giving.
Even as an experienced player I'm always finding some new thing in game that I didn't before.
Easily one of the best games ever in my opinion. 10/10

Early Access Review
A fantastic game with much more depth than I originally thought. Every hour or two that I spent playing this game came with a new shop, item to manufacture, or better way to automate my craft and trade systems.
They came quick enough that I wasn't frustrated with going out of my way to optimize but was paced in such a way that my designs never became stale due to the inclusion of newly researched options.
Automation itself is relatively simple but can be very complex once you take height into account.
8/10 - Super fun and well worth the money
