The sound design and score are worth their weight in gold, flawless, be it your first playthrough or your twentieth.
The story is easily the game's pièce de résistance, if there can be one. The genre-defining narrative is a tribute to one of America's greatest time periods. The level of depth and attention to detail is phenomenal. While it may seem simple enough on the surface, an outlaw's tale in a dog eat dog world, the true somber nature of friendship, loyalty, and betrayal are told bittersweet irony by bittersweet irony.
This meticulously handcrafted masterpiece isn't just a game of the decade, it's the crown jewel of the entire gaming industry.
