A once in a generation game. I started playing it in 2011, and it is still my all time favorite FPS game. Great balance, a good community, endless content. You can put as much or as little money into the game as you want. Even as a pure F2P player you aren't at a competitive disadvantage due to the stock weapons being solid and it being very easy to acquire any regular grade weapon without money. (all special qualities do is either add effects, kill counters, add collectibility, etc). The community market has done wonders for the game as well.

My only con would be their switch to primarily matchmaking over user run servers which happened a few years ago. When the update first happened it killed a lot of the community servers (including mine), which made me quit the game for a year or two. Time heals all wounds though, and community servers have been working their way back thankfully. And the match making itself isn't BAD; I was just moreso annoyed it came at the cost of a lot of smaller established communities.

This is a must own game, even if you are not a big FPS fan because of how unique each class is. Many of the classes also don't feel like other FPSs (IE Medic/Engineer/Spy), either due to their inherit design, or due to different weapons you equip that can change their playstyle (IE Demo/Demoknight)
