Love how most of the recent negative reviews are guys with like 200+ hours in the game complaining and not recommending the game purely because we aren't getting the content updates as fast as promised, even remarking about how much they enjoy the game. Like, my dude's, you have 200+ hours from a $60 game you enjoyed, you have no ground to stand on, unless the game is truly being made worse overtime.

The game is great, if you enjoyed focused grinding and the feeling of true progression in terms of personal ability then this is for you. There's few games that have given me more satisfaction than gradually improving and going from 20-30 minute kills on monsters to 7-10 minute kills. Monster designs are fun and interesting, environments are varied, difficulty is nice and balanced, story is just there and doesn't really add anything. Network issues have seemingly been fixed, I still get randomly dc'd every so often from my sessions but I'm 99% positive that's a steam issue. The only issue I have is how slow the game is to pick up at the start, it's not a game you can just pick up and decide if it's for you or not after a couple hours of gameplay.

All in all, I give it a solid MattMercerIsMyWaifu/10

I have close to 500 hours on the PS3 version.

I still walked straight through the troll door in lost bastille.

11/10, would play again.
