Using 30% hydrogen peroxide, cool down your acetone to below 32 degrees F. via ice bath solution.
Slowly add in 30% hydrogen peroxide while stirring “Recommend magnetic stirrer” keeping the ice bath solution below 32 degrees. Stir in slowly especially starting out.
Give the reaction a few minutes to complete while stiffing and then place the solution in freezer for at least 12 hrs. There should be crystals that formed if done correctly.
Filter off the solution using a coffee filter and discard the liquid.
Remove the crystals from the filter while wet (and break down while wet) in small portions about the size of 10 pieces of rice at most.
To keep it from drying out simply add more acetone while breaking it down.
When prepping it for use, it can be done while moist using acetone and the acetone will evaporate off.
