A game like no other, Braid is by far the most brilliantly crafted video game I've ever played. This game defines the puzzle-platform genre. It is a masterpiece. In my opinion, it does everything a video game should do: It causes you to think in a unique way. It challenges your mind without frustrating you too much. It combines beautiful art and design with distinctive gameplay to give you a breath-taking experience--Braid is a journey I won't soon forget.

Monkey Island is the reason I love point-and-click adventure/puzzle games. It is the first one I ever played, and it was a perfect introduction to the point-and-click adventure world.

The special edition does a great job of updating the game to make it more easily playable by today's gaming generation, but it is still true to the old-school feel of the original.

This is hands-down, without a question, my favorite game to come out in the last 10 years. An amazing sequel to a terrific game, Portal 2 was everything I hoped it would be and more. Stellar storytelling, excellent voice-acting, exciting environments, and masterful gameplay. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer.

The 2-player co-op is a great way to continue the game with an added twist to the puzzle-solving aspect, and the ability to build & download custom maps is perfect for making the game playable long after completing the main story.

I found Half-Life 2 to be a great sequel to the original Half-Life games. Although I found the storytelling techniques and overall plotline of the original series to be more compelling, the gameplay of this follow-up series makes for a very enjoyable FPS, perhaps more "fun" than the original.
