Outer Wilds might be my favorite game of all time. To me, it's a *almost* perfect adventure game. The entire game revolves around my favorite aspect of any game: exploration & discovery. The game is loaded with plenty of thought-provoking lore to uncover and head-scratching puzzles to solve, complete with beautiful worlds to traverse and phenomenal music to accompany your journey.

This is one of a handful of games that I would gladly wipe from my memory so that I could experience it all over again for the first time.

If you loved the base game, you'll love the DLC...as long as you don't scare easy.

I only wish there was a way for less-skilled gamers to experience this game, as the 3D space traversal and platforming (and stealth sections in the DLC) can make it a bit of a challenge for those who are used to a more point-and-click style adventure game.

Still, it's a 10/10 for me, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves searching for secrets and stumbling upon "a-ha moments".

It's easy for some players to dismiss The Witness as a "mobile puzzle game spread out on an island" and I can see why. However, there's much more to The Witness than simply solving a series of puzzles.

To me, the most brilliant aspect of this game is the way it teaches you to play. Simply by adding a new level of difficulty or a different twist to each successive puzzle, you'll learn how to solve every puzzle in the game just by solving the ones that come before it. Of course, this often requires you to search the island for "tutorial puzzles" which is a very clever way to inspire a player to explore the entire island.

The increasingly more complex puzzles were motivation enough for me to continue playing, but then I stumbled upon a few mind-blowing secrets that changed everything. You need only spend a bit of time exploring and observing and soon enough, you'll make the same game-changing discoveries. Once again, these aspects are cleverly hinted at by the game itself, which solidifies this title as a masterpiece in my opinion. Your perspective will shift, and you'll experience a newfound desire to explore every corner of the island until every secret is revealed.

The game became an obsession for me. I anticipated its release for years and when it finally came out, I didn't even own a computer that could run it properly. So I waited even longer before beginning this amazing title, and when I finally played, it did not disappoint. I soon became completely immersed in the world and completely obsessed with experiencing everything the game has to offer.

The Witness is not for the faint of heart. There are over 600 puzzles to solve and many of those are quite difficult. If you're up for challenge, if you enjoy exploring vague mysteries, if you have a desire to know a game fully, if you want an unforgettable experience, you might want to give The Witness a try.

Little Inferno is a great casual game with just enough goal-oriented tasks to keep you playing through to obtain every achievement.

Gameplay is simple enough for very young children to understand (my 3-year-old loves it) yet has enough built-in challenges that it kept me interested until the very end. Buying items from catalogs to gloriously burn in a home fireplace seems rather arbitrary, and it is, but it is also surprisingly entertaining. The story seems a little forced at times, with some rather odd elements throughout, but the payoff is rather interesting, as the game suddenly takes on a completely different feel, morphing seemlessly from one genre to another to see the game's conclusion.

Bottom line: If you've ever felt the urge to set fire to everything in sight, Little Inferno will provide you with hours of digital pyro-tainment (which means that you won't get burned, or incarcerated, while indulging your pyromaniac tendencies).

You know how some people think that animals have souls? Well...they don't. But I'm pretty sure this video game does.

Before I gush about how much I love this game, let me preface my rave review with a warning. It's my opinion that if you are about to play Undertale for the first time, the less you know about it, the better. If you have any interest at all in the game, stop reading about it--listen to your heart and play it.

Now I'll resume my review which, consequently, contains some minor SPOILERS.

If you allow yourself to be fully immersed in its complex & weirdly meaningful world, Undertale will challenge everything you've come to understand about RPGs. Undertale is the only game I've ever played that has inspired me to question my every action and the motivating thoughts behind them.

Set in a beautifully nostalgic world with minimalist-yet-intricate pixel art, a whole slew of head-turning experiences await the player. The sizeable cast of characters range from the mildly misunderstood to the downright demented with a few goofballs thrown in to keep things kind of kooky. Depending on how you choose, these characters will either warm your heart as they help you along your friendly quest, or fill you with determination as you set out to accomplish your less-than-friendly mission.

The soundtrack is hauntingly captivating. Each piece of music throughout the game is masterfully crafted to fit the mood of each scene. Playing this game on "mute" would be a woeful mistake. The music & sounds of Undertale are a critical part of the soulful journey, breathing life into every dark corner of the game.

Gameplay is unique, yet familiar. The game itself is not challenging to "beat," but that's not really the point of Undertale. The challenge is deciding how you want to beat the game. This is where the experience becomes truly unique.

Overall, I was greatly pleased with the way Undertale gave me a new perspective while telling a gripping story in a unique way. I had already decided to play it again before I was even halfway done with my first playthrough. It's moving, enchanting, funny, and fun.

Bottom line: Play Undertale and follow your heart. Then follow your heart and play it again. You won't regret it...or maybe you will.

Kind of a cross between a point-and-click adventure game and a puzzle platformer. Anyone who enjoyed the old Lost Vikings games will have a great time with The Cave. Only annoyances: some puzzles require (too?) much climbing up and down and navigating large distances between actions. Also, you have to play the game 5 times for every ending. It would also be more satisfying if there were hidden areas or secrets. However, overall I highly enjoyed playing this game. The many outside references throughout kept me smiling.

I highly recommend this game. Very similar to old top-down block-pushing puzzle, only with a 3rd dimension. Fans of Portal will enjoy the well-crafted puzzles and simplistic style of this great FPPG.

Charming little point-and-click adventure. It's like LOOM meets LIMBO. Love the simplicity and artistry.
