incredibly addicting but will simultaneously make u want to perma sleep due to how easy it is to die both by enemies and by yourself. super detailed and complex weapon building system, and finding good wand or perk combo makes the pain worth. a lot like risk of rain 1 but 10x as schizo and 15x as punishing.

story is so boring i could nod off while listening to these npcs talk, and the frequency of unnecessary npc monologue is 11x as much as can be tolerated by any non-RPer. if you liked DL1 prepare to be disappointed - weapon, loot and combat systems either downgraded into something way less satisfying or at best very slightly improved. looks nice tho

very addicting even with current limited selection of upgrades weaps and characters. full release should be even better

After many years, still the best fast paced shooter there is.

Needs heavy optimisation or a rework of the player count and map sizes. If you like to be competitive in shooters, prepare to have to watch multiple optimisation guides, to get the input latency low enough to a point at which it could be considered playable.
