Proof that if you throw a lot of money at game development, something good might actually come out of it. Astonishing amount of cars with detailed interiors, vast world to explore and a lot of different activities to do. I gave this game a try hoping to fill a void left by TDU, but I got so much more - highly recommended.

Pretty bad port. The suposedly non-remastered version of Worms Armageddon (which admittedly received a patch improving performance and resolution) works much better. This game requires additional effort to even make it work properly - but I'm still unable to access the options menu because of the game crashing. It has different sound effects than the original had, framerate is also a bit wonky compared to Armageddon, which works flawlessly.

I was so pleasantly surprised to see that Gothic gets a remake, and that got announced shortly after I finished replaying through the first two. Very pleased that playable demo got released and it's meant to ignite the dialogue between the developer and the audience. Reading the message from the devs brought a smile to my face, hoping that after playing the demo I would highly anticipate the full release.

Boy, I was wrong.

How can you say that you understand what Gothic is about when you start the game with a literal explosion? I also got the feeling that the intro sequence was meant tylko have some sort of quick time event in place, which also left a really bad taste.

Nameless hero not being able to shut up, spewing witty comments every couple of seconds or so also felt really bad. Not being able just to nick the sword in the beginning sequence and then face the consequences, like in an actual Gothic game, was lame.

That's just the tip of the long list, which already has been brought up in the reviews many times, but that's what put me off the most. You already have the foundation of a great game - expand it, rather than try to reinvent it.

It looked boring when I was wathching streams of it but decided to give it a chance nonetheless- it was well worth it. The good kind of grind, this game is.
