DISCLAIMER
If you're only looking for Void Bastards 2, don't buy this game. While it shares some familiar elements, this is a unique experience that serves as an extension to the Bastards universe. Wild Bastards is not simply better than Void Bastards and vice-versa; this is more of a two-cakes scenario that Blue Manchu has given us.
REVIEW
It's a very good and a fun time; A character-driven strategy-extraction-shooter rogue like with a lot of charm, great presentation and gameplay, and plenty of replayability. Wild Bastards is a reinvention of the wheel since Void Bastards in how it combines strategy and FPS elements into unique gameplay.
VISUALS AND AUDIO
Blue Manchu once again utilizes a comic book style with brights colors and excellent sound design to make this side of the universe immersive. Character designs and environments are unique and distinctive, with all kinds of little details to appreciate if you spend some time looking around.

Sound design is high quality and also serves some utility in game play. Some of my favorite ambiance comes from feeding Beans between two Outlaws in the Feuds menu.
CHARACTERS, NARRATIVE
In my opinion, the characters are the strongest selling point of the game. The Outlaws have the same charm the Team Fortress 2 mercenaries have on me (which is a good thing to me but that's up to you). While their designs, weapons, and voices have obvious gimmicks and not everyone's backstory is elaborated on too much, each Outlaw has a fleshed-out personality that allows them to bring a unique point to the table or offer differing sources of humor.

The Narrative is a little dicey. It starts out fairly simple, but takes some weird turns and ends in a vague manner. That said, there is still a well-built world that can be discovered from the dialogue and exploring Showdown maps for details in posters and billboards.
STRATEGY
This is the meat and potatoes of Wild Bastard's gameplay. Strategy gameplay mostly involves moving your Ship (The Drifter) and Outlaws around maps to safely navigate Sectors and collect as much loot as possible along the way until you reach the end for your goal.

There are two crucial parts to the strategy: The Sector Map and the Planet Map. The Sector Map presents you with three branching paths and limited information about what's on a Planet. This information includes Enemies, the amount of loot to collect, any Modifiers that influences your time, and the Type and Size of the Planet.

The Planet Map plays like a boardgame, where your Outlaws pair up and have a limited number of moves. There are all kinds of spaces/nodes on Planet Maps that influence your movement. There is no time limit, but you have a limited number of turns until a Bosses start to appear on the Planet to chase you around and fight you/wipe your gang. Your goal is to start from the Jump Lock, loot around the Planet, and reach the Stairway to beam back up to the Drifter to continue moving throughout the Sector.

The most valuable collectibles on Planets are Aces, which act as upgrades for the Outlaws and is where the peak of the roguelike gameplay is. Aces can develop your Outlaw to fit multiple kinds of playstyles, so doing multiple runs to experiment with different Ace combos is worthwhile.
FPS
I'd agree that these parts were advertised a bit heavy since they're more like violent interludes between the Strategy. That said, combat is fun and unique with some new twists compared to older games.

On Planets, you will engage fights through one of three main ways: Roadblocks (Tiles that block parts of the map till you clear combat), Packs (roaming groups of enemies that initiate combat on contact), and Princes (A set of bosses that start to appear after a number of turns; function like Packs but with more movement).

All Outlaws have a kit which consists of Stats, a Weapon, a Stunt (Special ability), and Aces. You can beam single Outlaws down to Planets, but beaming two or more starts to form Bunches (Pairs) of Outlaws. Rather than switching between multiple weapons, you switch between entire characters while in combat. This means you're juggling between two health bars and two different powers. If an Outlaw loses all of their health, they are Injured, and will not be active the rest of the Planet. Outlaws can be revived between Sector warps or with Tonics.

The difficulty of fights comes less from enemies being complex and more from your Outlaws being overwhelmed. The amount of Roadblocks, Packs, and turns until Princes arrive are factors that also influence how you loot Planets. Outlaws can only work in pairs and health is a limited resources on Planets, so moving and picking fights carefully to avoid Injuring/KO'ing Outlaws is crucial.
UNLOCKABLES + REPLAYABILITY
While being a roguelike, Wild Bastards doesn't reach the same kind of chaos and power-tripping that games like Risk of Rain or Dead Cells do. That said, the game offers plenty of unlockable content and alternate modes that make it replayable.

Similar to Void Bastards, the Ironman Modes are options after beating the Narrative campaign once. The Ironman Mods end your run after your whole gang of Outlaws wipes, requiring you to restart.

You also unlock a Procedural version of the campaign, which strips the Narrative and randomizes the order in which you revive Outlaws. It also randomizes what kinds of enemies you can get, offering more of a challenge.

Playing on Harder difficulties also unlocks a few extra Mods. There are also Challenges that give you specific Outlaws and a specially designed Sector. Your goal is to reach the end of the Sector. Completing Challenges unlocks more Mods.

Replaying to experience unlocked content and testing new Ace builds is well-worth and still exciting. While for some playing through Narrative multiple times may not be worth it, I've personally noticed new details in the conversations Outlaws have and enjoy experiencing the jokes written throughout.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Wild Bastards is another great experience offered by Blue Manchu. The Strategy and Combat elements go hand-in-hand to reward Players attention to detail, tactical prowess, and fighting abilities during gameplay. The characters are engaging enough to be invested in and the Narrative features some fun moments and humor.

You may prefer to buy the game on sale (Cause when wouldn't you?) but I think this is another great experience from Blue Manchu that's worth your time.

The trailers for this game honestly undersell it. This game is AWESOME.

The different skills you can acquire combined with how badges and weapon upgrades can really change combat makes this an ever changing adventure.

It's also decently difficult, not too easy to blaze through but not too hard for casual gamers.

Soundtrack slaps as well.

Among Us is a fun online multiplayer game that plays out like the board game Clue and Mafia/Werewolf.

Crewmates have to complete all of their tasks while the Imposter(s) have to try and kill all of the crewmates. The Crewmates win if all tasks are completed or they vote out the Imposter(s). The Imposters win if they manage to kill all the Crewmates.

The tasks are simple yet fun to complete. Along side this the variety helps keep things interesting as tasks perform in a specific manner, and some of them have multiple parts.

The Imposters have the ability to sabotage certain functions around the map such as lights and communications. They can also close doors to trap or block Crewmates from/in certain rooms, and they can utilize vents for mobility around the map.

After an Imposter kills a Crewmate, their victim's body will be left in the location they died at, which gives another Crewmate the opportunity to come by and report it, starting a meeting.

Meetings start out with discussion time, where people can use the chat feature to discuss the location of the body and get a general idea of where everyone is. After that, the Crewmates must work together and try to use any evidence they gather in order to figure out who the Imposter(s) is/are and vote them out. Similarly, Crewmates can call an Emergency Meeting using the button at the center of the maps in order to prompt a meeting and discuss anything important if they can't call a body.

All in all, the game is simple yet fun, and is a very fun experience totally worth the $5. Plus you get an abundance of funny hats to wear as well, so that's a bonus!

Definitely worth 99 cents. The graphics and some animations (reloading, the Farmer talking) were lazy, but the overall idea is pretty comedic and funny. Plus,this game has GUNS! So you've got a cheap game, with guns and zombie pigs, and a Skeleton and Dead Viking. I almost nearly forgot about the multiple characters you can play as. This game is also multiplayer aswell, so if you get stuck on 1 of the 100+ levels, you can just get some friends on with you and beat it. This game is definitely recommended!

The Source Filmmaker is a 3D animation software. It is commonly used by people(including myself) within the Team Fortress 2 community considering it already has the TF2 cast installed into the program. There is some extra DLC though that can install the characters from Left 4 Dead 2, Portal, Stanley Parable, and so on.

There is of course the Steam Workshop, where you can install a variety of custom models to use for your projects. Beside animations, however, you can of course create still images in the form of posters.

All-in-all, I recommend the Source Filmmaker. It's an easy, simple program that is used and recognized by many people, and it can be used to create high quality animations and images for one to use.

Early Access Review
Gang Beast is a really funny wrestling game where you can throw people into fire,off a building,into turning gears,etc.There's also a 'Waves' mode where you have to knock out npcs and throw them off of the building (by that I mean there's one map for the 'Waves' mode).I recommend this game due to how hilarious it is,with the physics and ragdolls.

11/10 'Would scream 'HOW?' after my brother knocks me out multiple times again'
